La Boutique Hotel Prague

Reviewed July 17, 2014

We stayed here between 13. and 17.July 2014.
When we arrived, we were shown to a room in a separate building 300m away from the main building.
(We had ordered an "anex-room" by mistake.)
It was sort of rustic, but the bed was good and so was the shower.
I had ordered roses for our room, and they were there, fresh and with a card, just as the hotel had promised me in our e-mail correspondence prior to our visit. (I didn't even have to pay for them.)
We upgraded to a room in the main building the next day, and it only cost us 10€ extra a night.
That room had a small living room with a tv and a pullout couch, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The room had ceiling windows with "light cancelling blinds," A/C, and good quality free WiFi.
The breakfast was good, the hotel is close to the metro/tram/buses, there's a shopping mall a couple of blocks away, lots of good restaurants nearby.. But the best part of the hotel is the impeccable service you get from the staff!
They are very polite and informative, know a lot about tourist attractions, restaurants, public transportation aso, and will bend over backwards to keep their guests satisfied.
We can recommend this hotel for young travelers looking for good service in a cheap, good hotel.

Room Tip: Make sure you book a room in the main building.

We stayed here on a trip around Europe between 21st and 23rd June 2014. We had a lovely time and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone, from weary travellers, to families, couples and people on business. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely man who spoke perfect English who directed us to our room. The room was clean, comfortable and the bed was lovely. it allowed us to sleep well before a day of sightseeing Prague, allowing us to recover. Breakfast was magnificent. There was scrambled egg, fruit, breads, croissants, tomatoes, cheese, yoghurts, juices, tea and coffee - More than enough to fill you up, so no need to worry there. There was a good TV in the corner, plenty of space, good WiFi and bathroom was a good size. La Boutique hotel is very luxurious for what you pay for and it is in a good location. Very close to the metro, lots of restaurants around and a shopping centre with a Tesco and lots of clothing outlets. We felt safe in our hotel and it was very quite at night. It is also only a couple of stops on the metro to the centre of Prague. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Prague and certainly recommend it to friends.

It is not the end of the world. But it didn't met up to what I expected of the hotel. But the city is nice. And we got close to the town centre and the metro. We even have a good tobacco but it never by.

Pretty Nice Hotel, Good prices and Good breakfast, its clean and its near to metro and tram and busses. No luxury, but you get what you pay for! Several restaurants in the neighborhood. Near Staropramens brewery.

Stayed in room 14 for my partners 50th Birthday for 3 nights 15th to 18th May
And enjoyed every minuet of our stay on arrival the manageress was on reception she was most helpful an managed to get us a booking in the best resturant in Prague called Belleview which we knew could be dificult as they are fully booked every night She called them explained it was for a 50th and got us a table. I spent £200 that night on a 3 course meal for 2 plus wine worth every penny . Our room was not ready on arrival as we arrived early so we walked around the area had lunch in a lovely Italian over the bridge nearby then came back. The room was lovely very clean an well looked after for our stay they even put yellow roses and a bottle of bubbly in the room for my partners 50th which was very nice . Breakfast in the morning had something for everyone and the staff at breakfast was very nice .
All in all a great hotel lovely staff great location very clean would definatly go back and stay . The bad reviews i read that others had written last year when i booked was utter rubbish not 1 of the staff was rude hotel very clean so can only assume those that wrote bad reviews are people deliberately fabricating stories and have nothing better to do with their time.

We stayed in this b&b for four nights. The b&b itself was situated brilliantly, only a 20/25 minute walk away from the Old Town. You won't need a bus, taxi or tram; it's a nice walk along the river and doesn't involve hills, valleys or any other obstacles.

The interior, décor and rooms were great, a little worn but not scruffy or broken; perhaps well-used! Everything was lovely and clean, a big factor for us when travelling and using hotels.

Yes there was a main road outside, but you could barely hear it, if at all, not a big factor.

Great breakfast spread, don't expect to be waited on, but for what you pay it's a great selection; no complaints at all! I'm vegetarian and didn't struggle to eat well and with variety.

Free wifi, a touch patchy, but who needs it all the time? You're on holiday for heaven's sake! Go outside!!!

Free bag storage on last day helped a bunch too.

I highly advise using pre-paid taxi service to and from airport too, as public transport links from hotel can be a bit time consuming. We used one online before we left UK, paid and confirmed, for a great door to door service.

I highly recommend for couples, if you'd like good value for money, great location, and clean facilities.

If you're looking for a bargain stay in a good location, this is a great place. Decent sized rooms and incredibly comfy bed. Good selection at breakfast - cereal, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs etc. Very close to transport.
