The hotel was very clean, but a little out of town. Very easy to travel on the tram, nos 9 for 24czk, though as a single female a bit vary to travel at night and nothing to do at the hotel!

For the price paid I have no complaints, breakfast adequate, and a bar to have a drink in the evening. The most I can complain about is no hair dryer - and that really is not that important.

However Prague is a fantastic place and well worth a visit - though next time I would try and stay cluster to the centre.

Room Tip: Only complaint is too far away from centre of Prague.

This was meant to be a wonderful Christmas in Prague 5 nights 7 people 3 rooms....we arrived to a smoke filled reception and bar area ,every where smelling of stale smoke....Staff were very friendly and helpful.
All corridors leading to non smoking and smoking bedrooms again were filled with stale smoke.
We opened all windows in our bedroom for the duration of our trip and even bought scented candles and air freshener for our rooms..Breakfast was pretty basic...Trams could be heard clearly from the bedroom at night......The bar area was shut Xmas Eve when we were told it would be open..... I suppose you get what you pay for.....

Room Tip: Go to a different Hotel......Hotel Clement is very good

Stayed here for 3 nights, betwen 23rd and 26th december 2012. The staff was very helpful with everything. We got a room on the 5th floor, pretty big, beds were very comfortable despite the fact that they were 2 twin beds put together. The pillows were not that great but they did their job. Room was clean, bathroom as well. The maid was cleaning the room each day (well, except for the Christmas day). Free WiFi in the hotel lobby and payed WiFi in the rooms.
Breakfast was really good, lots of various food, salads, juice, yogurt, coffee, etc.
Regarding parking, you can find lots of free parking spots in the vicinity of the hotel, there are also 3 parking spots right in front of the hotel (the hotel clerk will tell you that those spots are free) and there's also a private parking if you really want to pay for it.
The main disadvantage is that the hotel is quite far from the city center. There's a tram station near the hotel and you can reach city center in about 25 minutes with Tram no. 9. You can get tram tickets from the vending machine at entrance of the hotel, 24Kc each (about 1 euro).

Room Tip: The parking at the front entrance is free of charge.

This was our first visit to this hotel and to Prague, we were allocated a room which was opposite the tram lines which ran most of the night so noise is hard to ignore. Toiletries basic. The bed was two singles put together, which were not at all comfortable to sleep on, they creaked every time you moved, pillows were very lumpy they were more like bits of duvets stuffed inside, on asking a member of staff for another room we was informed that all the beds were the same, request for softer pillows due to neck condition fell on deaf ears. Curtains were about a foot away from the window, leaving a gap letting in light and not good for privacy. Towels had holes in, quilts dirty when checked inside cover. Got stuck in lift, had to wait for caretaker to let us out. Second night, 2 males in room next door making a racket so got little sleep 3rd night same. Eventually after little sleep, rang tour operator and was allocated another hotel which cost an extra cost of £70.00 to be moved to a 3 star Hotel to spend the last two days of our visit to Prague.
