My (new) husband and I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights in room 313 the Tchaikovsky Room.

We were married in the Vrtbovska Gardens to which we had a perfect view from this room.

This hotel, the staff, food, grounds and location are all AMAZING!!!!!! Nothing is too much trouble. From the moment we were greeted at the airport until the moment we left we received excellent service.

Lunch at the Coda Restaurant terrace was FANTASTIC and again so was the service.

As you can imagine Prague now holds a special place in our hearts as does the Aria, I can't imagine coming back to Prague and not staying at the Aria.

This hotel is beautiful and in a great spot, and most of the staff is super friendly (one was up for a crazy award in Rome!), but I got a bad taste in my mouth the moment we arrived. The woman at the front desk asked how we'd gotten to the hotel, and when we answered via cab, she VERY RUDELY said that there was a driver waiting for us at the airport. As I hadn't requested one, I was very confused and apologetic, but she pressed on and was accusatory ("They're still there waiting for you! Why did you take a cab!!!!"). She then asked our name and realized she was mistaken. Rather than apologizing, she said (just as nastily), "Oh, nevermind. It was someone else." She NEVER said she was sorry or even changed her attitude or tone. I would never go back because of her alone, which is sad - she was THAT bad! Otherwise, the place is beautiful and the location is great, and the rest of the staff was helpful. First impressions are huge!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your review. I sincerely apologize that your experience with us more than half a year ago was disappointing. I fully agree with you that the first impression is always very important and I am sorry to hear that the first impression of the ARIA Hotel was such a letdown. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional service to our guests, and clearly you did not receive the service standards we generally aspire to. Please be informed that we have taken all measures to ensure that a similar situation is not repeated, and I believe that the current front desk staff at our hotel will convince you of the truth of our great reputation. I hope to have the opportunity to rectify the situation in the future. If you should decide to give us another chance, please contact me directly for any reservations at jiri.hlavaty@aria.cz.

Sincerely,

Jiri Hlavaty

We had a week at the Aria and found it very good. The welcome was friendly and helpful and the public areas are attractive and inviting. The 4.00pm complimentary afternoon tea was a nice extra and one we were surprised how often we used after a long walking day.

Room 213 was our room which was fine although we would recommend a higher level to avoid the view into the top of the glass triangle above the winter garden and to provide more breeze through the open windows - the room was warm and the AC struggled to get / keep it cool.

The free wi-fi was efficient and much appreciated.

We dined on the roof-top terrace restaurant and loved it - good food; friendly service; great views and wonderful ambience - but in the cooler months it will not be available as it is outdoors. While we were there, the main restaurant / lounge / roof top terrace was booked out one day for a wedding that was good for the hotel but not so much for guests - but as this happened only once in the week it was of liveable inconvenience.

The concierges were very helpful and particularly Ivana who used her initiative to find alternatives when our first choices were unavailable and always gave us a good solution.

Breakfast was acceptable with reasonable choices.

The location is excellent: that nice balance in being easily accessible to everything but not in the middle of the tourist throng.

We would return to the Aria.

Room Tip: Higher level and if possible with a garden view.

This is an incredible hotel.
It deserves a Relais and Chateau rating!
There is not any particular aspect about which one could complain.
One evening we had the tasting menu in the restaurant inside and it was superb.
The third evening we went onto their roof restaurant and had a wonderful meal.
This setting on the roof is incredible, just like a medieval scene .
There is nothing more I could add to the wonderful reviews already written.
An absolutely fabulous hotel!

This hotel is in a very convenient position and the staff were amazing - couldn't do enough for us. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant the first night and it was fantastic - great view and great food. The gardens at the back of the hotel were absolutely gorgeous - there was a wedding on there the day we arrived and it looked so romantic. This management of ths hotel knows what service is and it is run like clockwork.

We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay at the Aria Hotel. The location could not be better - far enough away from the crowds but convenient walking distance to everything. The included breakfast was excellent, the staff were lovely, and our room was clean and spacious. A highlight of our our stay was dinner at the Coda restaurant on a warm summer evening, overlooking the lovely city. Prague and the Aria exceeded our expectations!

This is what i call attention to detail! it's a musical hotel... we've stayed in many boutique hotels... but this was lovely... from the mosaic in the lobby, which was like musical notes, to the key which was a magnetic treble note... we were in junior suite and got a beatles room ( my favourite band!) we got Louis armstrong chocolate every night... it was a girls trip, my sister turned 40... we told the concierge at 9am the next day we were woken up with 3 glasses of champagne, and the best marzipan chocolate cake. the staff was amazing, helpful and courteous! they suggested we go to the 'Blue Ducking' restaurant for home style czhec food - it was the best meal we ate in prague... it's location is great, a stone's throw away from the charles bridge! i would recommend this hotel to all:)
