“A Prague Gem : Art and Music Boutique Hotel”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

The Aria Hotel is in the centre of Prague's old city area, on the west of the Charles Bridge and a few minutes walk from it. It's likewise located within walking distance of all the major attractions and a number of good restaurants. On arrival, the reception staff were very welcoming and had our room ready for early check-in. Before that, we were shown around the hotel and its facilities, including free access to the renowned Vrtbovska Gardens, a Baroque masterpiece adjoining the hotel, and also the very well-equipped and staffed concierge office which also has an extensive music and film library (the latter in addition can be viewed in a special 'screening room' next door, or in your room). Music and Art are the themes of this uniquely lovely hotel, and our room had an iPod with a selection of opera and jazz music connected to a high quality sound system (all the rooms are music-themed - ours was the 'Three Tenors'). All the art in the hotel (and the furniture too) are original pieces. The continental buffet breakfast is excellent, and comes with the complimentary option of freshly made eggs. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any staff member, and even a casual conversation about arranging early morning airport transfer was overheard by a passing member of staff (turned out he was the general manger!), and was proactively dealt with - not only was the car arranged, but we were even provided with a packed breakfast to take away.
The Aria is a true gem of Prague, and one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in anywhere - we're already planning when to return!

We just stayed for week at the Aria. The Aria is a five-star boutique hotel, very close to the Charles Bridge and incredibly convenient to the major city sights. It is also near public transportation. Our junior suite was beautifully furnished with a comfortable couch, chair, desk, two televisions and an extremely comfortable king-size bed. Everything was immaculate and the linens and towels were high quality. Everyone who worked in the hotel, from the concierge to the wait staff and cleaners, was very friendly, spoke English and very eager to do whatever he/she could to make us happy. The breakfast buffet, which came with our room, offered many choices from eggs, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, cheeses and top quality breads and pastries. Even the capuccino was perfect. The Aria has a superb restaurant on the roof with an amazing view of the city. There are beautiful formal gardens next to the hotel. Each afternoon, tea and a small selection of sweets were provided free. I cannot imagine a better hotel in Prague.

Room Tip: All rooms are good.

This was our little treat to ourselves, staying for 4 nights in Prague in a 5 star hotel on our European trip. It was booked on Expedia, with a special offer. From the moment our taxi arrived outside and the door was opened by the waiting porter to carry our bags in, I felt like a star! The service from all staff was outstanding, always with a smile and everyone seemed to enjoy their work. The concierge, Henry was very helpful in suggesting ways to see Prague and we took him up on the offer to organise a walking tour of the city, which was absolutely fantastic. The breakfasts were excellent. We stayed in the rooftop deluxe rooms, which were very spacious and comfortable. The location of this hotel is great. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful wonderful hotel. Great reception staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Everything was efficient and beyond expectations. We had the three tenors room, and everything is music and art themed. Bathroom accessories were all high quality. Breakfast was excellent and very fresh. Concierge also had great suggestions without being intrusive.

Of course Prague is great with great cultural history and this augmented the whole sensation of being in a gem of a city. the hotel is very near to a lot of cultural sights.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is choosing to go to Prague.

I loved this hotel. From the time you arrived till the time you left they took fine care of you. I enjoyed the small hotel feel, the rooms name for famous musicians ( mine was the Puccini), the restaurant/well stocked bar, the amazing views from the roof restaurant. The hotel is located on the castle side of the city, just a short walk to the Charles Bridge, just a short walk to everything really. The perfect spot to stay.
The room itself was very comfortable, with a little seating area. Very nice bath and shower area. I would for sure stay here again.

Room Tip: My room the Puccini room faced the hotel center courtyard. Very quite at night. Nice

My husband and I are completely enchanted with Aria Hotel. The team, the food, and the Hotel´s struture are perfects. We strongly recommend the Hotel for a stay in Prague.
We were received in our room with a lovely Diana Krall´s song.
If you stay there do not forget to visit the Hotel´s garden, one of the most beautiful in Prague.

My wife and I together with two friends have just returned from a 4 night stay at this wonderful hotel. Upon arrival we we given a tour of the hotel and a welcome drink before being shown to our rooms. We had two deluxe rooms which featured a huge bed, large flatscreen tv, ipod and dock and a computer with free internet access. Sheer luxury!

All the staff were fantastic, smartly dressed, attentive but never obtrusive - just provided great service which is the way it should be! Breakfasts were good and the complimentary afternoon tea of sandwiches, desserts and cakes was a pleasant surprise. Having our beds turned down every evening and supplied with fresh bottles of water and chocolates was a lovely touch also.

The ambience of the hotel is just right and it's a wonderful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the perfect place to unwind and relax.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone - its not the cheapest but I would be surprised if there is anywhere better to stay in the city!

One note of warning for anyone thinking of visiting Prague - smoking in public places is still allowed in public places and there were no none smoking areas in any of the restaurants we we went to.

That said Prague is a great place to visit (suggest you avoid weekends and thus miss the stag parties) and a stay at the Aria only enhances the enjoyment.
