The beautiful interior of the sanctuary (still used for services and concerts) takes you by surprise with its rich Moorish decoration. The balcony now houses a Holocaust exhibit.
This synagogue is one of those on the tour of the Jewish Community -- it is probably the most beautiful, but not the most intriguing. I recommend going to all of them (and the cemetery) to get an understanding of the history of the Jews in Prague and their contribution to the city (including the tiled/paved sidewalks).
