Stayed at this hotel with friends for 3 nights in August. This hotel was recommended to us due to its service and proximity to the town. We had taken the overnight rail from Krakow and hence arrived at the station early (about 7:40am). Our first experience was a taxi driver to the hotel which was less than 3 kms away. To say we had been ripped off would be an understatement. Anyhow, upon our early arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by English speaking staff who informed us our room would not be available till after lunch (this was quite reasonable due to the hour of our arrival). They stored our luggage and then proceeded to get directions to the old town which happened to be less than a five minute walk. Upon our return we were again greeted and directed to our respective room which were quite reasonably sized. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and sleep was restful. Breakfast was well and varied in decent quantities. Definitely recommend this as value for money hotel.
