My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We were extremely pleased with the location which is on Wenceslas Square. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the main railway station, Hlavni Nadrazi. It is also very close to the red metro line and the tram line. From the hotel we walked to the Old Town and Prague Castle. We arrived at the hotel after a 7 hour train trip to find a fast and easy check in. Maps and details of tourist activities were waiting for us and the reception staff had excellent English. We were lucky to be upgraded to an apartment which was lovely. It had an enormous bedroom, sitting room, large bathroom with a double vanity and a shower that was separate from the bath tub. The kitchen had all modern appliances and a dining table for 4 persons. The central heating was great. The daily breakfast was served in the Breakfast Room and offered a wide selection of foods. There were hot choices, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, breads and pasteries as well as juices and coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
I would certainly recommend this hotel and will stay there again on my next trip to Prague.

For this price, this hotel is the best. We stayed for three nights and we were all happy with best location - close to every major attraction and not far from train station. We were also very happy with free wifi, good breakfast, and large clean rooms.

This Hotel from my room had no view, But its location in the mall was great 10 minute walk from the station i found it easy
The staff and the desk staff were great as this was my first trip to Prague they were full of information to make my 4 days a treat and i had a lot of questions nothing was to much trouble.
My single room was large with shower and toilet all clean serviced daily
Breakfast was good looked after in thee dining room well
And WI-FI was very fast
Did not care about the view the location more than made up for it and great value for money.
The only draw back was the hotel had a massage place down the lane it was not very good.

This hotel is a no fuss hotel in a good location; My wife and I did B&B for 4 nights; breakfast continental but fine, rooms & bed comfy but didnt seem to change sheets once rather just fix them which meant bed a little bit scruffy after a few days; construction work at back, Saturday morning 7am sounded like war had broken out; staff a bit miserable, one or two a smile; but unless that really bothers you, not a problem, just enjoy Prague, great place

Room Tip: At the front if construction work continuing

Dear guest,

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you liked your stay at Hotel Elysee. We are sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced with noise from the construction site. Unfortunately, you were a little bit unlucky staying at hotel Elysee at that particular weekend, because owner of the abandoned building, located across the courtyard, scheduled a demolition of the building. This was the war-like noise you have heard. Now, that the building is demolished we not only have little bit improved view from the rooms, but hotel is also again very quiet. We look forward to your next visit.

No mistake that previous 3 reviews all refer to the great location of this hotel. Located just off Wenceslas Square we needed to be near to the old town and the Castle area as we only had two days to cram in as many sights as possible. The rooms were larger than usual and the beds comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and modern. Our reservation had been for rooms that had twin beds and when we arrived, one room had a double bed instead. When this was pointed out, staff were quick to find another room and to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hot breakfasts included bacon and eggs and baked beans, a variety of breads and cakes and jams, plus cereals, yoghurt, fruit and cold meats and cheese. The staff were friendly and helpful, including making a reservation at U Medvidku for dinner one night. Lovely shops close by, a short walk to the markets (both food and souvenir) and a little further on to the old town and then down to the Charles Bridge and the Castle. Perfect!

Room Tip: A view out over the Square would have been preferable however we were not in the rooms long enough t...

I was on my business trip and spend 3 nights in hotel. I was situated in very large room with large windows. I got large double bed and slept very well. Safe box in the room was missing as well as chairs. I liked the most location with lot of shops and cafe bars around - very vivid surroundings what I like. The hotel is very near to all Prague attractions as well as to main railway station and bus to airport. I found the staff very open and helpful. I didn’t like only pour choice of chees for breakfast although this depends on taste, but selection of teas was excellent.

Room Tip: Room with the view on backyard is large and sunny

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days in September. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a triple room which was large and very clean. The hotel was very central within easy walking distance to all the main sightseeing locations.
