Thought the location of this hotel was just right, so booked in for 5 nights. Staff very pleasant and room was large, clean and airy although the decor was a little tired. Room 19 towards the back of the hotel was quiet with windows overlooking the internal courtyard.
Breakfast was ample with a selection of cereals, hot bacon egg sausage potatoes and a veg, toast, cold meats eggs salad fruit etc, pastries and of course fruit juice tea and coffee. Plenty of room in several dining areas. Breakfast is served in La Boca restaurant until 10 but do not leave it to the last minute as breakfast items start to be cleared away promptly at 10am as they prepare for lunch. La Boca seems to be very popular with locals. We tried it one evening along with a free drink. The food was good but to be honest not to our taste. A copy of the menu is in each room.
The booking came with airport/hotel transfers and a free tour. This 3 hour tour will take you by minibus to the top of Prague Castle and then a guided walk brings you back close to the hotel.
A tourist information office is also located in the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Salvator and we would highly recommend it.
