Thought the location of this hotel was just right, so booked in for 5 nights. Staff very pleasant and room was large, clean and airy although the decor was a little tired. Room 19 towards the back of the hotel was quiet with windows overlooking the internal courtyard.
Breakfast was ample with a selection of cereals, hot bacon egg sausage potatoes and a veg, toast, cold meats eggs salad fruit etc, pastries and of course fruit juice tea and coffee. Plenty of room in several dining areas. Breakfast is served in La Boca restaurant until 10 but do not leave it to the last minute as breakfast items start to be cleared away promptly at 10am as they prepare for lunch. La Boca seems to be very popular with locals. We tried it one evening along with a free drink. The food was good but to be honest not to our taste. A copy of the menu is in each room.
The booking came with airport/hotel transfers and a free tour. This 3 hour tour will take you by minibus to the top of Prague Castle and then a guided walk brings you back close to the hotel.
A tourist information office is also located in the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Salvator and we would highly recommend it.

We booked two nights at this hotel and upon our arrival they informed us that the hotel was full but that it had been arranged that we would stay in one of their apartments, which was much larger, for the same rate. The apartments were slightly further from where we wanted to stay in the city but very nice. We didn't use the kitchen but it certainly seemed more than adequate if you were to stay there for several days.

The hotel is in a good location on a small cobbled street but close to the old town and transport. Although the decor is dated, the breakfast is good and it fears overall good value. We really loved the convenience of the really good restaurant next door.

Hotel Salvator is a small but quaint hotel very conveniently located a short walk from the Old Town Square in Prague. The suite we had was 2 rooms with a king bed in one large room and a small room with a twin bed. There were 3 of us staying in this suite, myself and husband and our adult son. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel had an awesome breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price. The food choices were abundant and very tasty. The décor was colorful and exotic. This hotel is not fancy or eloquent, but has a quiet charm. If I ever return to Prague, I would stay at Hotel Salvator again. The price was very affordable and the location was great to get subway, sightseeing tour buses. There was a large Mall just a very short walk from the hotel and some delightful restaurants with great food close by.

We stayed here with friends and were very happy with the hotel. We paid a lower rate than our friends, and our room was considerably smaller - they in fact had two rooms, and we had one small room with the bed taking up most of the space. However, we enquired the next morning and were delighted to be moved to a very large suite - for the same price. Breakfast was included however we learnt that we had to eat early, otherwise the buffet was severely depleted, and very little was replaced. The staff were very helpful and friendly and it was convenient to have an in-house tourist office. It was a very short walk to the main street and transport. There was also free wifi downstairs and also a free printer which was very useful.

Room Tip: Check the size of your room before booking - depending on your length of stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights Tuesday to Friday in room 10. An attic room which was very quiet and had2 double beds. Decor is a bit old in these rooms but was very quiet and comfy. BBreakfast was also good. 3 nights was 297 euros so was good value as is central in Prague 1. Would stay again.
