We have just returned from a fantastic weekend away in Prague and I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, the location is perfect, the staff go out of there way to help you and the décor is beautiful. I booked this hotel based on the ratings on TripAdvisor and we weren't let down, the hotel is situated in the centre of Prague in the Lesser Town near Kampa Island and everything is short walk away, close to Petrin Hill, Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. We stayed in the Anna Svídnická room on the third floor which had a lovely view of the castle, the room itself is in the eaves but was beautiful with antique furniture, gold chairs and a big bathroom.

We took advantage of the free airport transfer included with our booking to pick us up from the airport. We were early for check-in but as our room was ready they let us go up so we could unpack and settle in after our flight. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel welcome from the very beginning. The continental breakfast was lovely and we also had the complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoons.

I booked the stay for my fiancée's birthday and when the staff realised it was her birthday, they left us a bottle of wine, chocolates and biscuits in our room, which we both thought was a lovely touch. On our final day after checking out, we waited in the bar for an hour before our taxi came to take us to the airport and were given complimentary drinks and snacks which we did not expect.

Overall it was a lovely trip and made even more special by the hotel and the staff. I would recommend this hotel highly and would definitely stay here again if we came back to Prague.

My girlfriend and I just returned from a weekend in Prague and I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful without being at all overbearing, the rooms are beautifully decorated and maintained, and the location is perfect to explore the city, situated just five minutes walk from Charles Bridge.

The free plate of cheese and glass of wine each evening of your stay is also a nice touch.

The complimentary breakfast is nice enough but one morning of your stay I would recommend a five-minute stroll to Cafe Savoy to have the delicious (and enormous) French breakfast with a Czech twist.

After checking out at midday on the Sunday we were kindly allowed to spend the last few hours before we caught our flight in the spa at the Nosticova's sister hotel, which is just five minute's walk away, free of charge.

When we next visit Prague, we'll definitely be staying at Alchymist Nosticova again.

We stayed here for 4 nights after booking this hotel based on the reviews on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. Upon arriving the staff made us feel more than welcome. They were very helpful and efficient for booking tickets or helping us get around the city.
The room we had (one on the ground floor) might not have been the best choice for we were between the front door and the reception desk but it was absolutely not noisy for we didn't hear them as long as we hadn't come out of our room for breakfast.
Breakfast was more than plentiful and served with a smile and a kind word. The room was clean and well equipped and we received a new box of pralines every day.
The bathroom is roomy and well lit.
The hotel is a 5 little minutes walk from Charles' bridge and 10 from the old town Square. If you prefer to get around by public transportation there is a tram stop just around the corner.
If we ever go back to Prague we'll definitely be staying here again!

Choosing this hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff is always extremely friendly and eager to help. The hotel is set in the right spot of Prague close to numerous tourist attractions but on a quiet street that has only pedestrian traffic. Rooms are very nice, classy and offer a lot of amenities. I recommend Anna Svidnicka room (has a great view of the castle). For sure we'll come back.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in May 2013

On arrival the very friendly receptionist offered us a welcoming drink. A good start !

This is a small luxurious hotel located in the lovely old " little town " district of Prague. It is a charming area with narrow cobblestone streets, beautiful old houses and very little traffic. Best of all no ugly graffiti ( unlike poor Vilnius). The area is not overrun with tourists as central Prague is, but it is still only a short walk to the Charles Bridge and the city centre. A great location from which to explore the many delights of Prague.

Our room was spacious and well appointed in a lovely old European style. The bathroom was large and modern. Everything very clean. Good comfortable bed. The room was air-conditioned. An excellent room.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of Zuzanna at the reception desk. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was so welcoming and friendly. She even managed to get us tickets to the opera at short notice. Thank you Zuzanna !

We had breakfast each day in the hotel restaurant and it was very good. We also had dinner once in the hotel restaurant and once in the hotel's garden restaurant across the street from the hotel and on both occasions it was excellent.

There are plenty of very nice restaurants around the hotel. We especially liked the Cafe de Paris.

Prague is a delightful city with much to see and enjoy. We recommend a visit to the Modern Art Museum and a concert in Smetana Hall. There is also a very moving exhibition dedicated to the 7 men who were killed after they had assassinated the Nazi leader Heydrich in Prague in 1942, in a small museum in the Orthodox Church.

Prague is a wonderful city and this is a fabulous hotel. Highly recommended.
