“A great choice of hotel with a great location and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

I was immediately struck by the excellent service , reception are so knowledgable and helpful.
The room was very clean, and comfortable. The breakfasts were varied and plentiful (buffet). Early in the morning, I just popped to Charles' bridge before everyone else got there to start selling their tatt ! Ate at the hotel on the second night - the food was very good, in keeping with everything else encountered in the hotel. Managed to sit out on the roof top terrace going home, and you can see many of the key spires. On checking out you get a voucher for crepe and coffee at the cafe creperie - just the thing prior to the trip back. Martin and Miloš were behind the desk and very helpful. Wifi available all around the hotel, whether in the main hotel, the annex or even outside at the cafe creperie. Vouchers available for complementary entry to the charles bridge tower, and it's well worth getting up there to see the city from above.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Annex (above the Creperie)

Where do I begin, this little hotel is a gem, from its position by Charles Bridge, old historic building, large rooms with soft soft pillows and quilts, roof top terrace with swinging hammock, lovely meals, friendly staff and service and best of all - every day a present from the management left in your room as a thank you for staying with them ! How cute is that :} I would stay again in a flash.

This is a relatively small and very friendly hotel. It is conveniently located at the end of Charles Bridge on the Lesser Town side. It's a pleasant stroll over the bridge to the Old Town and Prague Castle is only three tram stops the other way. Our room in the main part of the hotel was very nice. It was quite big and had a nice view of the tower. The main thing that's great about this hotel though is the staff. They were very friendly and always made a point of speaking to us every time we entered or left the hotel. They really were very sweet. It seemed like they really wanted our stay to be as nice as possible. On arrival, we had chocolates in our room, then a lovey plate of fruit the next day. On the third day, when it was my girlfriend's birthday, we had a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on ice brought to our room. They made us feel very special and I would have to stay here if visiting Prague again.

The reviews are true . . . . . . this place is fantastic!! While its not exactly the Ritz, its still first class in everything it does. I think the staff must have shares in the hotel as they really really care about your stay. I cannot add anything more to the positive reviews that have been said before except for just stay here if you visit Prague. Perfect for the CUBE clinic too!

Wonderful attitude to guests. Little surprise, a bottle of champagne or a fruit plate, on the arrival of the evening in the room. A good, varied breakfast. An ideal location, all within walking distance.

Room Tip: Apartments in the old building, spacious, bright.

Location is great for tourists. I found the staff to be very helpful. They even fixed us a breakfast bag when we had to depart early in the morning. The rooms are big for European standards. You won't go wrong here

You can't really imagine a hotel in Prague located better than Hotel Pod Vezi - in the very heart of Prague's Old Town just next to the Carl's Bridge! Sitting in the hotel's restaurant you can see the bridge itself and can feel the unrivalled atmosphere of Czech capital. The firendly staff and spacious rooms are just the icing on the cake.

Room Tip: Try to ask for a room with the view at Mostecka street - the view of the back yard is not so promisi...
