We really enjoyed staying in this hotel for three nights. The front desk staff were very helpful booking tours, etc. The location of the hotel is very accessible to the Old Town. Lots of restaurants nearby, as well as the Funicular Railway

Really enjoyed this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived the entire staff went out of their way to provide great service. Our luggage was lost by the airline. The staff spent two days tracking it for us. They also provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and umbrellas for us! Great location with easy access to the transit system. Small elegant room with ample sized bathroom which was very clean. Once again the housekeeping staff went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Rather old-fashioned hotel, although the rooms are nice and clean. Bathroom not very big. Breakfast is OK but not exceptional, you don’t get the quality you can get in smaller pensions out of the city. On top moments (between 8 and 9 am) the dining room is too small and there is not enough personnel the fill up the buffet. It’s always very difficult to find somebody who is doing the bar and once there is somebody, most of the time they are not qualified to do that job (a gin and tonic was a big problem). There is always a smell of smoke (cigarettes) round the stairs and in some rooms. The reception tries to sell you a parking place (18 euro a day), although there is free parking in all the streets round the hotel. You can easily walk to the center of the city and to all the interesting places of Prague.
Look out when you change money there is a difference of 400 CKZ (2050 to 2450)for 100 Euro between some offices. Always check the bill in bars and restaurants because they often make “mistakes”.

Very nice hotel conveniently located 2 short blocks from several streetcar tram lines. Get a pass and use the transit system to get anywhere you want. The hotel front desk has a good map of the city and transit system.
The included breakfast was very good. The dining room selection was nice and the food okay but a little on the pricey side. If you choose to eat there, be sure to insist upon the 10% discount that takes a little negotiating. Instead, try two restaurants close by within a few blocks. Meduzzy and Olympia. Good selection and reasonable prices. The desk staff will give you directions.
If you are charging camera batteries or a tablet etc, be sure to tell them not to shut off all the electricity to the room while you are out sightseeing for the day.
For a nice change from the typical tourist sights, consider a walk through the Petrin Park. It is a steep hilly but large green space. The bottom is a few blocks from the hotel and the top is near some tourist attractions. You can take the funicular / tram to the top and walk down

Room Tip: Although our rooms were facing the main street, the double windows were soundproof and traffic noise...

Our thanks to the staff for a very pleasant stay during our Prague visit. Everyone was most helpful with answering questions, the room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast hearty and complete. My wife and I would highly recommend the Best Western Hotel Kinsky Garden to any travelers seeking both a warm and professional establishment as a focal point of a Prague experience. Best wishes for continued success.

We stayed at Best Western Hotel Kinsky Garden for 5 nights in August. It's located in a very quiet neighbourhood-so excellent sleep quality at night! It's about 10 mins walk to Charles bridge. The breakfast was good-lots of choices and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean! We also ate once at their little restaurant, the food was quite yummy (exceeded my expectations), although a bit pricy.
The price per night was very very reasonable for August...we'd stay here again next time!

Well situated hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. It is close to all sights. Not more than 15 minutes walk to the city center! It is very "interesting" to cross the streets in Prague - dangerous ? The walking time is very short and the drivers are not very calm, so be careful crossing the streets especially with kids after you! That is not an issue for the hotel in general but if it is located on 15 minutes walking distance it is good to know it!
