“Great Base”
Reviewed April 14, 2014

Stayed in this hotel for three nights as a base for a city break. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was in a great location, close to Charles bridge but tucked away in a side street so it wasn't too busy. The room was clean and spacious if a little oddly furnished. The history of the building also makes it a little special. Only minor criticism is that we were on the bottom floor next to a service door used for laundry which got a little noisy in the mornings.

Room Tip: Try to avoid the bottom floor room on the far corner.

Stayed in the hotel for three days (Feb, 9, 10, &11). My room was on the 5th floor and had a great view of the street. The room was almost too large for a single traveler. Within walking distance to most attractions. I particularly thought the Indian Restaurant across the street was quit good...The staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and filling. I would stay at the Cloisters again. Wonderful location.

Room Tip: Upper floor room with street view.

Recently returned from 4 nights at this hotel. We really liked the location as it was possible to walk to all the tourist areas both sides of the river but it was on a quiet street so no noise at night from late night revellers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room wasn't huge and was quite basic but we weren't in it much so we weren't bothered. Everything was spotlessly clean. Free tea and coffee from the machine in the lobby was a nice touch - also free access to internet and printer so that we could print boarding passes prior to our flight home. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Also very nice restaurant 'Stoleti' within 5 minutes walk of hotel.

Room Tip: Our room on 3rd floor was perfectly OK

We booked this hotel based on reviews and we were not disappointed. First, the location is just awesome. Close to all main places and everything is within a walking distance of 10-15 min. We used the metro only once! The rooms were very clean and big. The breakfast was good with variety and the hotel staff were very helpful, kind and polite. If we ever come to prague again, we will surely stay here. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Cloister Inn Hotel for a week and we were very pleased with it. The location was just what we wanted - in the Old Town, not far from the New Town, the Jewish Quarter and the Charles Bridge leading to the Castle - so we were able to walk everywhere. There are also plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance of the Hotel. The Hotel was very comfortable and clean. It's in a quiet street. We had a very spacious room with bedroom area, sitting room and ensuite. Breakfast consisted of plenty of hot and cold food. There was free internet access in the Reception/lounge area and, in the same area, as much free tea and coffee as you could want! The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is reasonably priced.

We would definitely recommend this hotel.
