“March weekend”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

The Cloister Inn was excellent all round for a weekend in Prague. Centrally located, clean and a lovely breakfast. Our room was huge and very comfortable. The reception staff were probably the most helpful I have come across. I would definately recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very comfortable, though the weather was very cold (-6) the rooms were very warm. It is centrally located, an easy walk to all the sites except the Castle which was up a very steep hill. The room was large and well furnished with TV which had a number of english programmes. They had a lounge downstairs which served free hot drinks all day. This was very welcome when you returned from the cold. They recommended a local restaurant which was close by and offered residents from the hotel a 7% discount. The food was czech cuisine wholesome and of good value. I will sent a separate review of that.
The staff were friedly and helpful.
The breakfast was very good.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise for us. Large rooms with tv and a good-sized bathroom. The heater took a while to warm up and being a little over 6' I found the bed to be a touch short, but these are the only negatives I can think of. The service from the staff is first rate, the location is close to the old town square and several street markets and they serve a first rate breakfast each morning on the fourth floor. As well as wireless in the rooms, they have several pc's available off the lobby for guests and free tea and coffee.

All in all I think this place represents great value.

The room was very clean and good sized, central walking location to everything and the staff was very helpful. Great value! Also recommend as a safe place for a female traveler. The breakfast that was provided was also quite good. Would stay here again if in Prague!

First time in Prague and so pleased with this hotel. Staff were excellent and could not do enough to help you.The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and very helpfull. Breakfast was very good, sausage, beans, boiled eggs, tea coffee and a very good cold selection. We left early in the morning and had no trouble getting an early breakfast. You could have free tea or coffee in reception any time during the day or evening which was a nice touch if it was a cold day. The Hotel is situated within an easy walk of old town square wenceslas square and charles bridge. If I return to Prague I will certainly go back to this Hotel which I think is excellent value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were spacious and in good condition, large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Hotel was very clean and tidy throughout. The reception staff were excellent and really did all they could and more to help with our luggage delays, due totally by the way to our airline. The breakfasts in the morning were also very good with a wide choice and the free coffee/tea in the lobby was very welcome on our returns. Also a fridge in room if needed and stocked with either a beer or water for your arrival. It is located in the old part and very central for attractions or transport to elsewhere. All in all we were more than happy here and would not hesitate to return. We wouldn't look for anywhere else to stay in Prague.

Third time I've used this hotel and as good as ever. Spacious rooms with excellent shower room. Perfect location for all the main sites and loads of reasonable (and good) restaurants nearby. Will be going again.
