Charming traditional hotel in a fabulous location. Friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms with loads of character. Close to the old town square but really quiet. Highly recommend this hotel. Good food served in great surroundings

We stayed here a few years ago and the place is just as good as it was then. Ideally placed in the heart of Stare Mesto and a few steps from the Square it really is great value for money. We especially chose the large attic room as we liked it the last time, but for those who require a lift beware that there isn't one. It's a listed building and they are restricted to what renovations they can make so therefore has only stairs but we were already aware of this and it didn't bother us at all. The whole ambience of the hotel is 'traditional Czech' and for those wishing to enjoy the Old Town it's situation first class. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Hot & cold buffet breakfast has an extensive choice. A great little hotel and we would most definitely return.

Room tip: If you are happy to walk up 3 flights of stairs the a triple room is recommended and still reasonably priced for only 2 people.

Perfectly situated one block away from the main square. A little noisy neighbourhood but no more than expected. Rooms on first floor have beautiful paintings on the ceilings. Breakfast was included but very uninspired and generic.

You can't argue with the location, only steps away from the old town square and astronomical clock, right next door to Our Lady of Tyn church and only half a block from the excellent vegetarian restaurant Maitreya. As many people note, there is no elevator, which is mostly only an issue if you have a lot of luggage. The staff seems somewhat disinterested and uninvolved, though breakfast is fine and room clean.

Have been coming here for nearly 20 years. The family Volejnik's are hands on and are always there for you.
The Hotel is in a 13th century building and is about 25 meters from the Old Town square where you find the famous old clock Orloj.
The restaurant's Czech cuisine is great for lunch or dinner with a cute small bar and a cellar for special occasions that has a glass view of Prague's 1000 year old street.
The hotel has finally received permission to install an elevator which will be warmly received by the guests who have been returning year after year.
