“Great place during the day, sketchy at night”
Reviewed January 26, 2014 via mobile

Letna park is wonderful during the day to walk your dog or to play particularly soccer on the weekends. During the weekends, many local and international soccer players come to play pickup soccer. Letna is a wonderful place to walk, yes parts of it are run down but most of it is quite nice. There is a clay court tennis club and a small restaurant on the side opposite the Prague Castle. On the side closest there is a nice cafe with a view overlooking the city.

Gorgeous park which we were lucky to visit on a sunny winter's day. Strolled from the Technical Museum through the park to the stairs that lead down to Chechuv Most. Lucky to see a red squirrel in a pine tree and also some great spotted woodpeckers. Lots of European robins, nuthatchers and magpies also. Great place for the kids to expend some energy after a morning at the museum.

“Great park in Prague”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

Very beautifull park located on the left shore of the Vltava in Prague. It's almost 10 minutes from metro Vltavska, or near 15 minutes from Stramestska square and from the Stariy Grad. There is another attraction in the park - Metronom which was built on the place where was Stalin monument. Monument was exploded and instead appeared Metronom. The park has several great lookouts with stunning views. The park has very few tourists, but there are many locals walking around with the kids, with the dogs, running or have a picnic. Very nice park, be sure to visit.

“Not so many tourists”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

Letna is definately populare with the locals and even more so in the summer. It has wonderful views over the eastern side of Prague (Old Town) and includes the location to get that iconic picture of the bridges of the Vltava in alignment. During summer at the northern end are few beer gardens which make for an ideal place to admire the back drop and cool off after a days walking.

As an idea - you could walk through Letna and get your photos before heading out of the western end of Letna, over the footbridge (still at the top of the hill) and in to Kralovska Gardens. This provides you a beautiful walk along the ridge opposite the castle through botanical gardens to the back entrance to the castle. You can then always head down Nerudova with the rest of the tourists afterwards.....
