“Stunning place”
Reviewed November 21, 2013

This cathedral is a fantastic example of gothic architecture and can be seen from all over Prague.

You can see the outside for free, as you can enter the castle grounds for nothing but if you want to go inside you need to buy a ticket.(KC250, for the short tour) The stained glass windows are beautiful and the cathedral looks wonderful, when bathed in the light that shines through. The tombs of Wenceslaus and St Vitus, himself, can be found here. You can climb the south tower and I beleive there is an extra charge for this, as I did not climb it, myself.

“Great architecture”

I love the architecture of this cathedral. The inside is just as much exciting! It is one of the most beautiful cathedrals I have seen in that style. Must see in Prague.

“Like being at Reims”

Designed by a French architect, this splendid gothic cathedral reminds you of its French kins. Most impressive. It's a must when you're up in the Burg.

This cathedral is breathtaking. So large yet so detailed and beautiful. There is a lot to look at here which all the gargoyles and beautifully crafted exterior. Well worth a visit and one of my highlights when visiting Prague.

Free to look at but costs to go in. We just admired it from the outside and it was still worth the visit.

“Standard cathedral, nice windows”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

Was a pretty steep walk to get up to the castle but the stained glass windows were nice and the cathedral was OK. Nothing amazing if you've seen the ones in Florence or Rome.
