“Great big church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

Go look at the stain glass windows in this place, they take your breath away - they architecture is very impressive too. Everything is so well taken care of. Well worth a quick visit; however don't stay too long, there are much more interesting places to explore if you're with a gang of your friends.

“Best place in Prague Palace”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

Very beautiful structure from outside as well inside. Lovely stained glass windows all over. 150 ton silver structure inside. Without the ticket one see up to a marked border while with the ticket one can go all around.

“Just as one would expect in the most important church in Czech Rep.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

We went into the cathedral as part of our Prague Castle Long Visit ticket (also allowed us to see the Castle Museum, Castle Powder Tower, etc etc). It is a beautifully decorated and constructed cathedral, that holds mass in Czech every Sunday at 10.30. At other times, it is a place full of tourist snapping photos and trying to see the place.

It was quite busy even in the middle of February, I can't imagine what would happen in the summer. As with most church the artefacts and decorations are full of symbols and meanings, but there was little explanation in the church except for a 3-fold brochure. If you are interested in the stories behind the church and decorations, bring a guidebook.

It is a very nice building, but I wouldn't call it stunning.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

We only had time to walk around this stunning edifice and have a quick look inside before our tour bus was due to leave, but it is a truly spectacular example of Gothic architecture and during our next visit we will buy tickets to enable us to tour the inside. Without tickets, it is only possible to view the cathedral from the back.
