“Do Not Miss This”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

This Cathedral is within the Prague Castle complex. This Gothic style cathedral is beautiful outside and inside. You have to purchase tickets to see it and walk inside. We got the short tour, which will allow you to see 4 or 5 tours within the Castle. With the fluctuating exchange rates, I had trouble figuring out the cost, but it is between $12 - $15. You can also buy an audio tour. Such an impressive structure, truly a humbling experience.

“Fantastic Sight to See”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

The Cathedral has the awe-inspiring feel to it from the moment you step inside. The most intricate painting and sculpturing is on display and provides visitors with fantastic photo opportunities. Going up the stairs to the upper level gives a great vantage point to really take in all that the historic building has to offer.

“Breathtaking...”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

We visited St Vitus Cathedral at Christmas - it is within the Castle walls and you can buy a ticket for the various other buildings within the Castle precincts. The Cathedral dominates the skyline and has a huge vaulted ceiling, beautiful windows and a beautiful organ. There are many photo opportunities here - and also many visitors, despite the cold weather and time of year. We bought tickets for a City Sightseeing bus - 48 hr hop on and hop off - so avoided the trek up the hill to the castle.
