Buy a 2 Day ticket to see the cathedral and castle. This will enable you to get into places and wander the length of the cathedral/castle areas taking in the history and special feeling of this wonderful area of Prague instead of rushing to see it all in one day...

“worth a visit”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

A bit out of the way but a nice walk over the river to get there. Lovely stained glass and where St. Wenseslas is buried. Only drawback is you have to purchase a ticket from over the road to look round it and you don't realise this until you are in it. But you can see it all from the inside entrance if you dont want to view in detail.

“Breathtaking church, worth the extra charge”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

We bought a "short visit" pass for 250 Czech and a 50 Czech photography permit. That allowed us to visit St. Vitus and the castle, Golden Lane and another venue. While other tourists huddled inside the doors, we used our passes to go further into the church. It is amazing, and the altar section cannot be seen from the back. You also will avoid crowds since you can wander at your leisure.

Amazing cathedral full of history Gothic architecture at its finest, a bit too expensive to go in but worth it for the art
