Beautiful friendly Hotel that is located perfectly.
You can feel the history of this hotel, which is unique.
For value, location and nice rooms, this is the best.
There is so much to see in Prague, and the Hotel reception will help you.

If you enjoy charm and character as well as comfort, you will want to stay at the Inn at Three Ostriches (U Tri Pstrosu ) in Prague. Situated right where the Charles Bridge ends in Mala Strana, this hotel is ideally located for sightseeing in Old Town (Stare Mesto) as well as Lesser Town (Mala Strana). The 16th century building once owned by a feather merchant still has fading frescoes visible on the exterior walls. You enter a reception area with very helpful receptionists, a breakfast room with old world charm is to your right, and a small sitting room with a computer for guests is up one flight of stairs. The breakfast is excellent with warm egg and meat choices as well as yogurts, cereals, bread and rolls, fruit, juice, etc. And there is a wonderful little bakery right next door. Our room had a hand-painted beamed ceiling and two large windows, which looked out toward the bridge. We could open the windows for fresh air and lots of light and close them at night to shut out the busy bridge sounds. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom had a good shower and very nice toiletries.
The rooms vary according to price. Our friends had a room on the 4th floor without a painted ceiling. Other friends had a very tiny room on the 4th floor with just one window, but the price was lower than ours.
We will definitely book this hotel if we come to Prague again. It helped us to feel immersed in the history and culture of this lovely place.

Room Tip: request one with a painted ceiling with a view of the bridge

Great location at the foot of Charles Bridge right in the heart of Prague.

Easy access to historic Prague on foot. Deluxe rooms are comfotable with a good view of the bridge. Helpful friendly front desk staff. Be warned this is an old building therefore no lift or airconditioning although a fan is supplied in hot weather which was greatly appreciated. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

We had a very pleasant stay at U Tri pstrosu. It is perfectly situated in
the center of medieval Prague. The authentic old hotel with a calm and
historic atmosphere combined with the view to the Charles Bridge, the gate
to Mala Strana and the Castle gave us a relaxed and impressing experience.
The service at the hotel was excellent and all accomodations were
satisfactory. Thank you.

We had a really great stay here in December - the hotel is warm, safe and really friendly without being obtrusive. It is really relaxing here and a perfect haven after a long day's sightseeing in sub-zero temperatures. We had a smallish double room but it was perfect for our needs and absolutely quiet - we didn't hear a sound either from the street or other guests, so we got a good rest as well as a fantastic holiday right in the absolute centre of Prague. Highly recommended.

Possibly the most photographed and painted hotel in the world due to its fairytale location at the Little Town end of the Charles Bridge, next to the gatehouse and with the Castle, Cathedral and St. Stephen's church as a backdrop. A pleasant stroll across the bridge takes you into the Old Town square. My wife and I booked a room with a view of the bridge and river. We arrived after midnight which we thought may be a problem with a small hotel, but received a warm welcome from the night staff and a minimum of fuss checking in. Spotlessly clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and a great hot and cold buffet breakfast. The location is unbeatable with the added bonus of being on the "classier" , quieter side of the bridge compared to the Old Town side with its late night stag party noise.

Room Tip: Bridge view rooms are larger and cost very little more. "Our room", 21, was more like a su...

The hotel is very nice and with top service, maybe the breakfast could have a little more variation. It’s situated near Karlobridge, and with a view here to (placed in the end in direction of the Castle), so you can walk to most of the important places in Prag, so it’s to be recommended.
