Went with 6 other mates to Prague to celebrate a 40th. and we had right good time. This hotel was exactly what we needed to get some good sleep, a good hot shower, a quality breakfast and friendly advice on where to go. Great staff and nice hotel with good size rooms and good location. Mustn't forget the free wi-fi!

We were a group of 8 people who went for a weekend to Prague. I booked this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews and I am very happy with it.

The check-in was very comfortable. The reception guided us to the "Honesty Bar" while they did the check-in formalities.

The hotel is in a quiet location but very near to the old town square (5 - 10 minutes walking). The rooms are very good and have all modern amenities and good size. The reception area is also very good.

The breakfast was adequate and service was excellent.

We spent the whole day (and evening) near old town and felt quite safe while walking back to hotel quite late in the night.

Overall, an excellent experience (Prague being a great place for weekend parties). Will definitely stay here again.

I have recently returned from a trip to Prague with my girlfriend. We found a deal on Expedia for 3 nights for the price of 2, which (as students on a special occasion) we thought was excellent. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the main train station and with a little bit of research before arrival into the city on exactly how to get from A to B, it was relatively easy to find. The location of the hotel is great and therefore we were never too far away to explore Prague by foot. The size of the room was (for us) sufficient, although the size of the windows were extremely small and it would have been nice to be able to enjoy the top floor views with some larger windows. The room was always cleaned to a high standard, but there were a few chips on the tiles in the bathroom and the toilet paper holder was on an angle (which sounds funny, but it did get annoying after the first day!). All of the facilities in the room were perfect for what we needed. If I had to be really picky and point out a couple of things about the room, I would have to mention that: a few TV channels had a background humming noise on with a flickering screen image, and also on three occasions or so we heard clear talking coming through a vent over the hallway (it happened so rarely that it didn't disturb us, but I hope this wasn't a more frequent occurance for any other guests!). We thought the way the staff looked after us was fantastic. The staff at reception were always able to help our every need, whether it was Prague related or hotel related issues. The breakfast and free internet really was great. The amount and variety of great food on offer at the buffet was very good, with an extra menu of food and hot drinks which could be ordered included in the breakfast package! We had a great time in Prague and a great stay at the Maximilian, so all in all I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone on a short trip to Prague.

The Maximilian Hotel in Prague was a great place to spend a few nights. Upon arrival (after a long and delayed flight) the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was terrific and the location is ideal to walk to all the places you will want to see in Old Town and beyond. The room was very comfortable and the whole place a great value. I would stay there again for sure.

Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast buffet, prime location that's walking distance to everything. We parked our car in their underground garage and didn't go back to it until we checked out and left. The massage therapists downstairs are terrific too. My kid liked the goldfish in the room and the cake every day at 5-o-clock. This was our second stay and we shall go back!

Room Tip: I suppose if you have a room facing the street you might get some street noise but we've always been in the back and its perfectly quiet.
