Owner description: The most significant square of historical Prague, it was founded in the 12th century and has been witness to many historical events. In addition to the Old Town Hall and the Church of Our Lady before Týn, the square is dominated by the Baroque Church of St Nicholas, the Rococo Kinský Palace, the Gothic House at the Stone Bell and the monument to Jan Hus. In the pavement of the square are memorial stones marking the execution of 27 Czech lords in 1621, and the Prague meridian.

If u go to Prague, it's worth the extra $$$ to stay in the Old Town Square. Lots of restaurants and always something entertaining going on in the square.

This was one of our favourite areas since there are an abundance of little streets with bars, restaurants and shops. At night it is buzzing with atmosphere and all the buildings are lit up.

Lots of people walking on the street, cafe shops. restaurants and gift shops. You can see people from around the world which make this trip even more interesting.

Lovley views and architecture to admire. The street food is delicious although the ham is overpriced (they charge by weight - you can end up paying 15-10 euros for a plate of ham). The street entertainers fun.
