Owner description: One of the oldest streets in Prague follows a 14th-century trading route that also served as a section of the Royal Route for official processions.

It’s a street in the middle of old town with pedestrian zone almost all length along. In fact if you will not raise your head and look at houses from the first floor higher, you will not see how interesting this street is. There are plenty of old and amazing architectural gems, but you need to look for them. If you’re just passing by, it’s definitely nothing interesting at all. Expensive gift shops offering Russian stuff, more or less weird restaurants with the same pricing policy and few regular shops. In fact there is even a theatre along the way.
As a tourist you will probably walk this street in one or the other direction, but keep on mind, that those expensive and stupid shops are simply not the best it can offer.

This street is between Namesti Republiky and Starometska Namesti in the Old Town. It has many beautiful buildings but unfortunately it's very touristic and there are plenty of souvenir stores and Bohemian glass stores. There is metro station at Namesti Republiky and then it's good to walk to Starometska Namesti.

Nice street, unfortunately overcrowded by tourists, but good to see. Good creperie and candy shop is in its first part, closer to Staromestske square. There are several interesting passages going from this street to the labyrinth of streets nearby.

Busy street leading you to the Old Town Square, many small shops. Full of tourists all the time. There are few good restaurants too (Ambiente pasta fresca, U pavouka, U jelena to name a few).

Starting from Powder Tower, walk toward Barcelo Hotel and follow the walkway. Lots of people and street vendors all of the time, but if you love cobblestone streets and beautiful architecture, you can't go wrong.
