This is a lovely Hotel right in the centre of Prague within easy walking distance of a lot of the main sights. The interiors are splendid & rooms generally good. See note below. Excellent breakfast & the Bar/ Bistro very good for lunch. Helpful staff although my post cards have never reached England! Next to a Metro station & bus stops. Also very near the bus to & from the Airport.

Room Tip: Do not be fooled by an upgrade to a Suite. Suite 220 was on the back of the Hotel looking on to a ce...

A great hotel in an excellent location in the old town just around the corner from the Powder Tower. We spent three nights here and appreciated the old world - Art Nouveau - charm. If you are into architectural detail look at the mosaics on the restaurant walls and note how the motif is carried through into the metalwork elsewhere through the lobby...great.

Highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: The hotel is in a low traffic street so no real concern with noise. Windows are triple glazed also...

Vacations in the month of May, were- awesome and that too the stay at this place was just out of the world. It was the best time of my trip. Great hospitality and high quality services are the highlights of this 5 star hotel. From the moment we reached the place and till the time we left were treated like royalty. The rooms are delightful and had fantastic facilities. Everything needed for a luxurious stay was there; you don't need to ask for anything. Décor of the building is fantastic and impressive. Highly recommended.

This is one amazing Hotel that ticks all the boxes and the Art Nouveau design both inside and out is just so tastefully done. We spent four wonderful nights here in late May/early June in a junior suite which was worth every penny and more. Breakfast in the Sarah Bernhardt restaurant was lovely and overall the staff were fantastic. Immaculately clean, no fault whatsoever could be found and there are many Hotels around the world that could learn a lot from the Hotel Paris. Close to all major attractions and have a very reasonable car/driver service from and return to Prague Airport.
Simply irresistible and highly recommended.

Room Tip: Get a Junior Suite - exceptional value.

I first stayed in this hotel twenty years ago on business and now twenty years later I returned with my wife on holiday. To my great delight the nature of this hotel has hardly changed and if anything has been slightly improved with a redesigned large bar which is very useful for impromptu meetings having high glass windows on two sides.
The building is a homage to the art nouveau era from light fittings to even the lift door handles with pictures of that era all around the hotel. The restaurant apply named The Sarah Bernhardt is a wonderful place to eat and with a piano playing on some nights it is almost a time warp.
The service offered by the hotel we found was outstanding with not one but two porters rushing to open our taxi doors [incredible] and all round courtesy by all staff we came in contact with.
Ideally situated on the edge of the old town making access to the main sights and restaurants very easy.
Literally around the corner should you need any thing you forgot are two large shopping centres offering every thing.
In todays world you tend to think of standards dropping so after twenty years you can imagine what a delight it was to find the not only as good but in some areas even better.

My wife and I have just spent 3 nights at the Hotel Paris. We chose this hotel based on a friend's recommendation and from reviews we read on the Internet. Our stay at this hotel was a complete pleasure. The location provided us within walking distance of all the major sites and walking distance to the train station for the next leg of our journey. The rooms were spacious, very quiet and exceptionally clean. Hotel staff were pleasant, helpful and seemed happy to have us as their guests. Breakfast was included and I don't think that I have had a better breakfast in any other hotel that I have stayed at in Europe. Great coffee, fresh fruit, omelettes made to order, and a pleasant dining room with friendly staff. Minor inconveniences were a shower that managed to spray more water on the floor than in the tub, facial tissue with the texture of Emory board and a lack of a suitable non-smoking area to read a book and have a cup of coffee on a rainy day. All and all I strongly recommend the Hotel Paris.

Classy hotel, with friendly polite staff who provide a great service. Room in keeping with the rest of the hotel - large, very comfortable. Only downside was the size of the bathroom which was small but adequate with shower (no bath).
We thought the hotel location was terrific just off the Old Town Square and in walking distance of all the major tourist sites. Very quiet on an night until the bin men collect the refuse / bottles around 5am.
Metro station is right outside the hotel if you want to get from A to B quickly but beware of ticket inspectors. We only use the metro on the last day we were there and bought an all day ticket which we validated. Ticket inspectors asked to see our tickets later that day and told us they were not valid as they were dated the previous day and told us the fine was 800 crowns. We think this was a scam - preying on tourists as they collect the 800 crowns. Only reason we got off was we started to kick up a right fuss - I think they thought we would be too much bother but worth watching out for.
This experience didn't spoil holiday which we really enjoyed and would not want to put anyone else off from visiting a great city.
