we stayed at the hotel Pariz in Prague recently, you just could not fault the hotel, staff were very helpfull & informative, on the whole it was excellent! very clean hotel & the food was fantastic,
the town is very picturesque, & food in all the resteurants we visited was excellent & we would certainly visit again, only thing i would say on a negative note would be DO NOT CHANGE YOUR MONEY IN THE CHEQUE POINT EXCHANGE SHOPS as you get ripped off, their information is misleading &

My mother and I stayed here for her 70th birthday. the Hotel was great and very well situated in the Old city. Easy walking distance to a lot of attractions. We had a lovely room and the concierge was helpful. The restaurant Sarah Bernhadt at the hotel made her a cake for her birthday which they presented to us after our meal there. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The only downside was the cost of the wifi which you had to pay for every 24 hours.

We celebrated our wedding in Prague and wanted to stay in Radisson Blu Alcron Prague hotel, but had no chance - it was overbooked. So we stayed several nights in the Paris hotel chosing this with the help of rewies. The location is excellent and art nouveau style is everywhere, even small details in the hotel room - like silk wallpaper, old-fashion windows, green color table lamps and etc. Bed is big and comfortable enough. All is clean and room-service is good. So what made me say that it is not exact 5- stars hotel is breakfast and bathroom facilities. For example juice was terrible at the first day - 90% of water and (probably because of guests complains or?) it was another something the other days but not a juise at all. Coffe is also so so. Not good choice of sousige/cheese. Bathroom facilities and cosmetic are very limited and cheap for 5-stars hotel. It would be absolutly ok for 4 stars. Although I must say that in our case the price was a little cheaper than in other 5-stars hotel with the good location. In any case all other things were good. Just keep in mind when you stay a lot of time in room and expect higher standards look for something else. In any case Prague is so nice that make you blind for some small/inconvinience details...

We booked the Hotel Pariz after reading recommendations on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. We had five nights in room 405 with views over the rooftops towards the old city. The room was clean, light & sunny, comfortable roomy with a large bathroom.
From email contact prior to our leaving home to receiving an email on our arrival back home the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel arranged collection from the airport (after a 26 hour flight) and from the time we checked in everything they did for us was welcoming.
We had our first nights meal in their dining room and the food & service was excelent and breakfast each morning was a great way to start a new day with a wide choice of fresh food including the chef made omelet.
The location is wonderful for visiting the major attractions of the city. A car is required to visit the Castle but a fifteen minute walk to the National Theatre, The Rudolfinum and the Charles Bridge makes this hotel an ideal base from which to explore the city.
We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Room Tip: We had room 405. It was clean, sunny comfortable with a large bathroom & had a view over the roo...

Found the Hotel Paris on-line and did not know exactly what to expect. Arrived and things looked very nice and we were greeted by some very friendly people. Our room was very nice and clean and the style of the hotel was fabulous. A lot of art, mosaics, tile, etc. which when I asked how old it was learned it was probably several hundred years old. Our rate included breakfast which we only ate 1 day which was a Sunday and was a breakfast feast with complete breakfast buffets including an omelet chef and many tables of various other breakfast items. One regret I had is that we had to leave very early the next morning and did not get to have breakfast that morning. Another regret is we only stayed 2 nights and I am jealous of the person who stayed 4 nights.
I enjoyed Prague and plan to go back and when we do we will definitely plan to stay at the Hotel Paris as it is a great property with great location and great people, what more could you ask for...

We stayed at Hotel Paris at the end of September 2012. Prag is a fantastic city and Pariz iis a wonderful hotel.

Perfect location; Close to all major attractions in the Old town. The Metro and other public transports are very close to the hotel.

The breakfast is very good, with a lot to choose from. Omelettes are made by a chef.

The rooms have a lot of charm.

Café Paris Apfelstrudel was very good.
The staff was professional and friendly.

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel, and loved it. It is an older style hotel, with art nouveau features everywhere.
The location can't be beaten - close to Republic Square, the metro, and a short walk to the old town square and Wenceslas square.
The rooms are spacious, and well maintained. Bed was soft/medium with excellent sleep quality. Good pillows.
We stayed in room 205, which was on a corner with a nice outlook, and even a small balcony (only for standing).
The bathroom was huge, and well provisioned, with an overbath shower.
Air con worked well. Our room had minor road noise from cars on the cobbled street occasionally, but this was not a concern and didn't disrupt our sleep.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing in quality, but there are plenty of nearby cafes if you want to eat out.
Staff were really great - helpful, good English, enthusiastic.
Overall, highly recommended.

Room Tip: Room 205 is a corner room with nice outlook, plenty of room, and small balcony.
