“Best executive lounge”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

loved this hotel. Great location, convenient to everything. Best part was access to the executive lounge (we are Marriott Gold level). The offered a huge full breakfast buffet and then in the evening a full appetizer spread. This included wine, beer and hard alcohol. The staff is very helpful and the concierge made great dinner recommendations for us. Another plus is access to the gym. Huge with tons of equipment. Would definitely stay here again.

Booked Marriot from Australia for extra 5 days pre-Scenic tour package which also uses Marriot as their place of choice for their members. Everything was as expected, booking in on arrival was seamless, professionalism by all staff including behind the scenes was very apparent, with no requests too difficult. Room and other in-house facilities were clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. Many thanks to breakfast chef, Bernie and the Mid Town Grill for providing excellent breakfasts and morning smile. Location , location, location being close to Starbucks, modern shopping mall and 5 minute walk from the old town square and its many attractions including the Astronomical clock. The Marriot superbly set the standard and beginning of what was a great 40 day holiday and tour in Europe.

Room Tip: Being 6'4" (194cm), we requested spacious room, high shower and Queen size bed. Our room wa...

This is a nice Marriott for Europe. The rooms are sized large for Europe. I used points for 2 rooms, and was pleasantly surprised when they upgraded me to a suite-which has never happened when using points. The manager came out and thanked me for being an Executive Platinum member, and to show their appreciation had upgraded me. It was a wonderful thing to have happen, and was truly appreciated. There was a pull out bed from the sofa in the suite, which we were worried about for sleeping, but it was not your typical sofa bed. It was very sturdy with no bars, and quite comfortable. The only issue with the room was the lack of an outlet in the bathroom. There is one, but with a very strange plug, and it says 'shavers only'.

The concierge lounge was open every day, even on the weekends (again a rarity). There was a large selection for breakfast, and a full liquor assortment was available at no charge. These amenities were very nice, and these things alone mean I will stay there on my next visit. The staff was very nice and helpful. The concierge was hit or miss. At times we had a good one, and at other times there was a concierge who seemed bothered by helping guests.

Do know that a lot of Americans stay here, so if you truly want to indulge in the Czech experience, you will not feel it here. It is close to a tram stop for transportation. Overall, this was a great place to stay in Prague.

This hotel exceeded all expectations. The room was very comfortable. The Lounge was two floors with free Wi-Fi within the lounge as well as Ethernet connected workstations provided by the hotel. Good selection of food and drink. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Great location almost right across the street from the train station and a short walk to the bus station. No taxi required from either.

Absolutely nothing to complain about!!! Great hotel with outstanding staff.
Professional service throughout the facility. The location is perfect, right downtown Prague. The Executive Lounge – a bit too small but with an adequate amount of choices. We were very satisfied.

Being a Marriott, you can expect very nice rooms, all the amenities in the bathroom, great bedding etc. Rooms were, by European standards, large and comfortable. The included (at least on our plan) breakfast buffet was first rate. The special concierge breakfast was short on space and not anywhere as good as the buffet in the main dining room. Best of all was the excellent location - an easy walk to so many different places of interest.

Room Tip: Don't bother with the "concierge" level unless you get it free.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September before going on a river cruise. The hotel is nicely laid out with attractive furnishings . Had an upgrade to a suite which was very comfortable and spacious.
Breakfasts were wonderful with large selections of fresh food and hot entrees. The hotel was close to the old town and great restaurants .
Staff were accommodating and helpful.
Would definitely stay here again.
