Location is the best !!! Walking distance to the main sights. Rooms are quiet and spacious.
Concierge is very helpful. We requested restaurant reservations and recommendations. They gave us great recommendations. There is an airport shuttle bus terminal right across the street from the hotel which makes the trip to the airport very easy.Takes only 30 min, including traffic..
We will come back to Prague and to Old town Marriott.

Located in Old Town Prague, this Marriott location is outstandingly positioned for walking around this part of the city. Really, the sights you want to see in Prague (with the exception of Prague Castle) are all within reasonable walking distance of this hotel. We found the service from the doorman to the concierge to the room maid all to be first class. I was constantly bugging the concierge for information, which she readily provided. If you want a grocery store, Billa market is less than a block to the left out the front door. Want shopping? The Palladium Mall (indoor with numerous food court eating places) is a five minute walk away. There's also an open air market that sets up right by the Billa market. We had an executive level room with access to the Executive Club. Every morning there was a buffet breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, cereals, all kinds of fruit, all kinds of bread). Throughout the day there were soft drinks and bottled water available with snacks (mostly chips, peanuts, fruit). In the evening there were light pupus, not enough to fill up on, but good anyway. And, after 4 pm (I think) the beer and wine is available. The attendants on duty in the Executive Club were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable with good amenities in the bathroom. The deep tub-shower combination was a little awkward because the tub slopes in. You have to sort of stand in one spot to keep your balance while showering. Not a big deal unless you're unsteady on your feet. The room is not very large for a luxury hotel as is typical in Europe. The building is an old structure renovated into a hotel. I walked through the lobbies of a few other hotels in the general area of the Marriott just to compare. I preferred the Marriott's layout. The price we paid (early May, 2013) was roughly $305/night US$. The Marriott can provide transportation to and from the airport and to and from the train station in there Mercedes cars, but it's expensive compared to the other options. The day we left, we used the car to go the train station since it was raining and there were a lot of cobblestones to drag the suitcases over. It cost about $15 US plus tip. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the train station.

Room Tip: Get the executive level rooms. Access to the Exec. Club and breakfast and drinks make it worth it.

Very nice hotel situated right in the heart of Prague so walking to all the various sites is not a problem. Hotel staff was very warm and friendly . They accommodated our most important need which was early check-in so that we could get started with our walking tour after landing. The. two level Concierge lounge was exceptional and was open all weekend with an excellent breakfast each morning. The standard room was typical Marriott with no surprises but the attached Casino was pretty lame with only a couple of slot machines and mostly card games. All in all it is what you expect from Marriott

Being a Marriott Platinum member we were put on the 6th floor. The breakfast, happy hour and drinks throughout the day was fantastic. The rooms were typical Marriott rooms but the beds were extremely comfortable and I am very picky about my bed. The bathrooms were roomy enough. The service in the hotel was very good and the hotel bar was nice with great deserts. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant but was told it was good. Free wifi as well. We loved the location. Very near to great restaurants and Old Town Square. I would stay here again.

Great restaurants
1) Cafe Imperial - Authentic Czech
2) Ambiente Pasta Fresca - Italian
3) Gourmand Cafe - French Bistro, pastries and crepes
4) Pizzaria Ristorante Giovanni - Italian
5) Corso - Mediteranean, Czech, International

Enjoy!!!
