“Excellent location and value, great Restaurant Como”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

This is one great 4 star hotel right in the best part of city for sightseeing, excellent for shopping and great for families with kids. Complimentary airport transfer was really nice touch, to see a person standing in arrivals lounge with your name card is a very welcome sight! Welcome drink and a piece of delicious cake adds to the whole experience. We had a slight problem because our interconnecting rooms booked beforehand because of children ,were allocated to someone else- but the staff were very helpful and managed to get us the required room while we were offered a welcome meal in the adjoining Como restaurant, we are really thankful to all the excellent staff at reception and in particular Mr Oto Weiss who was great. All the staff had plenty of patience to answer questions, book tours, offer suggestions. We have stayed in many countries in many hotels but the overall experience here was really great particularly when you look at the room rates!
I would definitely want to come here again.

Room Tip: Higher floor, there is not much view of the square so superior room not really necessary, in fact st...

The hotel really has a perfect location directly at Wenceslas Square. Unfortunately that's all. For what you pay you should get more. Breakfast more like in a budget 3star hotel for a 5star price. If you are used to 4star+ hotel breakfasts here in Austria or Germany you will end up a bit disappointed. Compared to US hotel 'breakfasts' (if you know what I mean) you'll be happy... Check-out time was at 12.00 but room card wasn't working at 11.00(?!) After we asked for the hotel check they gave us only a bill for parking not for accommodation.

Room Tip: Can't recommend this hotel.

This is an excellently located hotel for seeing all the Prague sights as well as shopping. The staff were very good, friendly, helpful, and efficient. Nothing is to much trouble. We had seen on the hotel web site that a bunker from the days of communism existed under the hotel, we asked about it at the front desk and had a one-on-one tour of the bunker with a bit of information on its origin and history. The rooms; like the whole hotel are spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was included in our package which included a buffet style cooked breakfast alongside a continental style breakfast which included everything from cooked meats to home made cake. There is even a bottle of sparkling wine open if you fancy a glass before you go out and about. We had a meal in the hotels restaurant one evening. Very good quality a bit more expensive than some of the other local restaurants serving Czech food, but still cheap compared to a simmilar quality UK restaurant. We would return to this hotel, no problems.

I went to Prague to visit my son. I chose the hotel because it was close to his school. I couldn't have chosen a better hotel! It is right in Wencelais Square, a few blocks from the National Museum.

When I arrived I was pleasantly greeted (in English) and was told that I was upgraded to an "apartment" to make my stay more pleasant. This consisted of two rooms with a beautiful bathroom and oversized tub.

The hotel will also arrange to pick you up and drop you off at the airport for about $35 each way.

Room Tip: I chose the basic room but was upgraded.

Located on Wenceslas Square within easy walking distance of all the main Sites. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with directions arround the City. Our room was very clean, comfortable, warm and spacious and on the 6th floor did not experience much noise from the street. Plenty of hot and cold choices for breakfast.Would recommend to others.

Room Tip: I would go for a room on 5th floor or higher to minimise any street noise at night. Windows are doub...

Hotel with excellent location, we were on the 7th floor, we moved to 4th floor ... 7th floor very difficult to enjoy the view.
at first night the guy in the front desk did not help us to change rooms, he offered us to pay more for better room but no view of the street as we have booked, the next day we asked the female receptionest for help and she did with no extra charge for the same type of room as we ordered, from that point we felt better about the hotel, both rooms we were in had balcony, others had only the option to stand (u cant put chair to sit and relax).
the hotel is clean, neat, but the best and most fun is the view from the room over the famouse square.. the rooms are clean and comfy thoug a bit small..
the hotel has a good restaurant named como, from which one can enjoy good meals at reasonable prices, and spend the evenings there..(the breakfast served there also).
Breakfast is limited .. thats a shame .. This good hotel can do better and more ...
Another small thing: it's famous as 5-star, but on the key card we found that its 4 stars .. While minimal but should be noted.

Room Tip: street view with balcony over the square, pay the little extra, its worh it (the back of the hotel i...

It's not an luxury hotel, but they got an fair price. The rooms are ok, but the cosmetics L’OCCITANE were a nice surprise. The staff gave us great suggestions, but the best of the hotel is the location, very near to the main station of Praha.
