The food was gorgeous. The hotel is very authentic in its lovely old design. We walked around this beautiful city for 3 days - it really is amazing and certainly worth a visit. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I don't remember sleeping in such a comfortable bed for a very long time. Would have loved to stay a few days longer but hope to return at some stage.

It is such a wonderful place, you don't want to leave. The staff is amazing, very personable, professional and welcoming. We loved the atmosphere of the beautifully restored and designed whole house (from 1896) and the attention to detail makes it truly special. Our Christmas dinner in the restaurant Le Papillon was first rate, flavorful and creative, just a work of art served by outstanding and attentive Miroslav and Rudolf. The breakfast has many options and a wonderful hilly city view. The sauna and steam room helped with the winter cold especially combined with a massage. We loved the policy of not charging for everything and that made us feel very welcome, more like special guests than paying clients (complimentary minibar, bottle of prosecco with glasses and assortment of pralines at arrival, espresso drinks at breakfast no extra charge, room upgrade). Some might have been special attentions because we stayed for Christmas until New Year.
Some other details we loved: the heated floor in the bathroom, chocolates and slippers at bedside after turndown service, shoe polishing service, friendly and warm welcome every time we returned to the hotel, the beauty and quietness of the rooms, quality of bed linens and mattress, starting the day with great breakfast choices including local Czech bakery items and attentive service (we still remember Karel's friendly face).
The only improvement I can see: Allow smoking only in the library (separate room), so the bar area and hallway stay smoke-free. The restaurant is already smoke-free and by the way excellent, not just for breakfast :-). Thank you Miroslav and Rudolf for superior service.

We stayed 3 days last year for new years eve at The Palais hotel, in a junior suit, and i always reccomend this small palace. Was so much elegant, traditional, and hospitality in these period. When we arrive, the polite concierge, took us for a ride arround the hotel. Every corner of every room is such a beautiful and cute piece. The room was extremely comfortable, with underfloor heating. The spa was small but with an interesting selection. The breakfast lounge was beautiful, with nice views, and with delicious food everywhere. The tea time room, was so comfortable and magic too with the fireplace. That transported you to another period in the past. In general i was so glad of being there for the 2013 New year's eve. The only negative thing maybe is the location. Is a little bit far of the center, but you can go walking aswell. And there's no so much choose of restaurants next to the hotel. But i absolutely reccomend it!

Whisky presentation in hotel Le Palais Prague - Glenfiddich single malt Scotch whisky
I had nice experience in hotel Le Palais, Prague! Special Thanks to Andrie Künsli F&B and Josef Brda Executive Chef. These two guys helped me much
We tried to pair whisky Glenfiddich 12yo, 15yo, 18yo with the food and I think we did it well!
All the guests enjoyed the degustation which was enhanced by the atmosphere of library, the last room with a fireplace, in the foyer.
Thanks a lot again and I look forward to the next time!

We stayed here for a few days in August 2013. It is a little bit out of the way, but once you find your bearings, it is very easy and quick to either walk into the centre or jump on a tram or the underground.

Breakfast is a huge choice of just about everything you can think of and is included in the price. Mini bar is free and is restocked daily. The huge beds are incredibly comfortable, and the pillows are like soft clouds. The spa is amazing too.

Reception were incredibly helpful, and also arranged some excursions for us, which were also very good. We highly recommend the evening trip with local food and dancing. They collect you from your hotel, take you to the venue, wait, and bring you right back to your door. Brilliant service!

Just one disappointment, though, the bar ran out of amaretto on the first night (we only had 1 shot each). The barman told us that it would be replaced for the following evening. It was not. We were told it would be replaced for that evening. Fail. The next evening, they STILL had not replaced it, so they lost out on our business for drinks purely because they failed to replace that bottle of Amaretto, which, for a 5 star hotel, is pretty unacceptable.

Apart from that, we cant fault this hotel at all.

The hotel staffs make u feel so welcome and nothing is a problem to them. They really know how to treat their guests well. The room is very nicely decorated and best of all the mini bar are for free. The king size bed is really comfortable. If u enjoy fine dining, then the hotel restaurant Le Papillon serve really good food though it's a bit pricey. The location of the hotel is perfect only 15 minutes walk to the city centre and it's situated in a quite area. To go to the old town of Prague, take tram number 22 near the hotel. If I ever return to Prague, I will definitely stay at Hotel Le Palais again.

This is not just a hotle, it is an experience. The staff do everything to make you feel at home - professional in the extreme, I say as someone who has travelled a lot on business and stayed in countless hotels.
A particular thank you to the new restaurant manager, Miroslav whose discretion, professionality and humour would be difficult to beat. Five start professional.

Equally, Jose on reception who did everything to help with our arrangements from changing dinner appointments to booking theatre tickets. Nothing was too much trouble.

It is professionals such as these that make the hotel Le Palais stand out head above the others. Many thanks and I shall be back soon.
Colin
