Lesser Quarter is definitely worth a visit. We went as part of an all day tour to ensure we saw everything. We were taken down some lovely winding streets, learnt about all the history and the buildings significance. Worth the walk to get there!

“Worth the Effort to see”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

This part of town is on a hillside so combining it with a visit to the castle will make it a little easier. see the castle first and then walk downhill through the Lessor Quarter. Lots of restaurants and places to shop.

“this is where I would stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

Great, under-rated side of Prague. While the old town is all over priced, tourist driven tat, this side of the river has cute shops, great bars and restaurants, still the same amazing churches and buildings (although maybe a tad less opulent). We didn't stay here, but spent considerable time in the area. Next time I'm in Prague, this is where I would stay.

“My favourite part of Prague!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

Very nice part of Prague for a relaxing walk. There are many charming alleys between beautifull renovated old houses. Nerudova street is very nice with lots of restaurants, cafes, small shops.

“Better than other places!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

Staying in lesser town of Prague was the best decision my better half made. You are closer to all the attractions, but far enough. It to deal with the craziness of tourism. It's a bit off the beaten path if you take the time to explore all the amazing side streets that hold countless hidden gems. When I visit Prague again, I would only consider staying there, considering I've walked the rest of downtown Prague.

Recommend staying in Prague for at least 3 days, so you are able to see all the sights and not be rushed.
