“Feel the noble life”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

Good vendors for souvenirs, cheaper prices that in Stare Mesto (Old Town). Embassies and consular offices. Good noble life. Go to the top of the hill until Petriny to refresh a bit, to breathe a cleaner air.
I have even found Lavender small field. Excellent smell to complete the view.

“Quaint, quiet and and a living history museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

This area of Prague is across the Charles Bridge from Old Town. It has some great restaurants, easy access to metro and trams, and is not overrun with tourists in the evening.

“Viewed from the Castle”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

When we got here on Saturday afternoon we olny saw this from the Castle. It looked delightful. Another time, less rain, and more access we would love to explore this region.

“The best base for your Prague trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

The Mala Strana is the perfect area to stay while exploring Prague. It is within walking distance of most sites, but is set back just enough to offer you a little peace at the beginning and end of each day. There are many restaurants and little bars, but not the kind with a man out front trying to lure you in. There are many little shops that are NOT repeats of the same fake crystal and tacky knick-knacks that line old town square. Mala Strana has pottery shops and books shops and other specialties. Just a charming little area.

“Go to Kampa!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Near to the Mala Strana tram stop, walk down to the base of the Charles Bridge (to the right as you come off) and go to the little island of Kampa. Very charming, with canals, an old water wheel, and a cute old square with traditional street food vendors purveying delicious treats.
