“Red Roofs Galore”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

This has got to be the most picturesque part of Prague. Walking through it is like walking through the centuries. Looking from above, it looks like a sea of red roofs accented by an occasional spire or a dome.

“No lesser or smaller”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

Nothing is "less" in Mala Strana, a great neighborhood where most embassies are located right under the calm Petrin Hill. In Mala Strana you can spend several days visiting churches, castles, parks and museums. You risk forgetting that there are other places to visit on the other side of the river. Don't miss the John Lennon graffiti wall near Kampa Park, Neruda Street and Vojan Park, they may not be listed among the main attractions, but you will enjoy them. Interesting to see, though not a tourist sight, is how all cars are carefully searched before entering Trziste Street where the US Embassy is located.

“Very pretty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2012

We walked around Mala Strana a few times. It's was all very pretty, and clean and civilised. I have no idea why it's referred to as the lesser quarter, it was nicer than the other quarters! It felt like being in the posh end of town.

“Lovely quaint winding streets”

Definitely the nicer part of prague. If I come to prague again, I think this is the area I would stay in. Some lovely quaint shops scattered around.

“Great little shops.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

The shops were wonderful, I found my favourite shops here. The visit was finished off with lunch at Bohemian Bagel.
