“Worth the cost to go inside”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

We had not planned to go inside as we explored this area, but we are glad we did. The artwork inside was stunning. A great place to sit and absorb, or wander to appreciate.

“A brief history of religious Prague”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

Start your visit at the exit as there is a very useful history of the establishment of the Czech Christian church.
The church itself is wonderfully light and easily viewed in 20 mins or even less. It's free unless you want to make a donation.

“Baroque splendor”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

St. Nicholas, a beautiful baroque style church which, like many others in Prague, hosts classical music concerts to the delight of tourists. The acoustics are excellent when a quartet played Bach, Mozart and Vivaldi before the altar at our visit. Sun beamed through the ceiling windows on the elegant pulpit and then gradually, as sunset progressed, across the altar statues which formed a fabulous background set for the musicians.

The churches in Prague are beautiful! We listened to a wonderful concert here - pipe organ and trumpet.

“You have to pay”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

You have to pay to come inside and see. Every column have a sculpture and the ceiling is painted very nicely but isn't the best thing you can do here.
The entrance is not wheelchair friendly.
