“One of the most interesting places in Prague!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2013

If You have 2-3 hours of spare time in Prague don't hesitate to visit Wenceslav's Square - You'll feel the atmosphere of tourist Prague here for sure: a lot of shops of different kind, cafes, restaurants, hotels, places to rest are situated on this prolated-form square (previously here a big horse market was;)). A lot of Prague tours start from here (to be more precise - from Wenceslav's Monument). So start Your exploration of Prague from here!

“Amazing square HOWEVER do NOT change money on streets!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2013

We loved our trip and recommend it to everyone but do not change your money on the streets, whatever the seller says or however tempting the exchange. Some people we met were duped out of 50 GBP, which could have been a lot worse. There are many kiosks which will change for a better rate than in England. Other than that, enjoy!

“worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

Around this square, you'll find plenty of high end stores and very good restaurants mixed with some low cost fast food restaurants.

It is very close to the main square, so you can basically walk around it if you want to shop or just find a good place to eat.

“Great Shopping, but expensive!”

Nice photo oppertunities here and great shops, but be prepared to spend a lot of money (if you have it) even on the Sale items.

“Certainly worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

I don't think you could go to Prague and not visit Wenceslas Square, its so big you are bound to go through it on your travels.
Ok so its commercialised and there are some drunks there but its a great place to go and makes a very good central hub for visiting the other attractions in the city.
I liked it a lot more than I ought to if I listened to everyone else! Go and make up your own mind.....and at least there's a big Marks & Spencer!
