Not too crowded during January. A pleasure to stroll over the bridge day and night. Great to just stand and look at the lovely views up and downstream.

Beautiful old school bridge, nice statues (some are currently covered as they are being restored) and nice way to walk around the city. Very romantic and during the day there’s people playing music and selling stuff.

What a fantastic view in evening. You will fell in love no doubt. From old town square side you will have a great view of Prague Castle too.

My granddaughter was joined by her college mate during our visit to Prague . Together we walked from the castle grounds across the bridge to the old town. The scenery across was beautiful and the performers along the bridge created a colorful atmosphere.
The only negative was a sheer amount of other tourists and at times some were a bit pushy which took away from the stroll.

Lovely bridge but has all the usual trappings of a popular tourist location. Crowds, beggars, criminals (pick pockets), buskers and multiple selfie sticks and pose instagrammers
