We called here on our way back to the Old Town from the Castle - it was the first place that we had seen that offered vegetarian soup in a bread loaf as opposed to beef goulash. The service was good and friendly, beer was cheap and the food was delicious and filling - recommended.

their food is really good and you get huge portions!
but we were really disappointed as they charged us extra for bread they put on our table. we didn't order it, and didn't touch it (which they saw). as it still was on our bill we decided to tip only very little (it even said on the bill that tip was NOT included!). after that the waitress seemed pretty unhappy and didn't even say goodbye.

a good place. There I ordered bbq ribs and got a huge portion for only 9-10 dollars. It was juicy, tender and spicy, mmm i'm loving it:)). The fact this place has only few reviews here may be explained by the wi-fi absence there

We went in on a whim, my rada is usually good. We enjoyed traditional czech cooking , and I chose the beef goulash served in a thick gravy , Instead of a dish it was served in a hollowed out loaf of course bread. Of course the beer was excellent and we left happy.

We tried again but it was full and we ate just down the road, at a mediocre place.

Our family (2 adults, 2 children under 7) picked this restaurant at random during a whirlwind tour of Prague. The restaurant is very cozy and the waitress was nice. The kids had chicken schnitzel, which was excellent. The adults had the gulasch which was not so excellent. The Budvar beer was ok at best. Our bill was indecipherable- we saw our main courses and drinks but there were several other charges that was simply didn't understand and didn't feel like debating across the language barrier. They also added the tip to the credit card automatically, so be careful that you don't double-tip. In the end we paid almost 1000 Czeck crowns for three lunch plates and a beer.
