Excellent bed, excellent shower, excellent service! loved it!!!! recommend!! easy access to prague 1 too :) just make sure you do your research first and find out the right busses or trams for night, as i did get lost a few times but that was only because i didn't prepare!
Breakfast is very good, a lot to choose from, lots of sausages too ha ha ha.

For the money you get a large room , very good bathroom with separate wc all of which is clean and well appointed .
The tram stop could not be any closer to the entrance and there is a good sized supermarket only a five minute walk away .
I stayed five nights and found the breakfast to be acceptable if limited in variety . There is no English TV .

Room Tip: Higher floors have a better view

We choosed this hotel on booking.com as it seems to offer a good combination of value and location and a few perks like free breakfast, etc.

The hotel itself is quite far from the downtown area where all exciting sites are located. Tram 11 is located right across the main door and takes you to an exchage in less than 20 minutes where you can keep travelling towards the Old Town Square with Tram 18. You can hear pretty much everything from the street and on our side, the fire station was right below us, making it very pleasant at 7 am when they are doing their siren checks...

Rooms are basics with not much frills which is what we paid for. Although there was 4 beds in our rooms, only one side has a TV, a very small TV and not much is available in English. There is free Wi-Fi internet in the lobby and there are no chances to get internet in the rooms as there are no connections. As for the lobby... well the building look likes an old military kaserne building so there are 2 benches were you can sit to check your email and such.

Breakfast was plenty and the restaurant is located in a series of side-by-side rooms were they removed the walls in between rooms. Kitchen staff was pleasant and breakfast is included in the room price.

Cleaning services were very basic; We had to get down and ask the staff for a roll of toilet paper. Since they left with the towels without replacing all of them, we had to share the towel since the night staff could not help on that. Basically we were told to suck it up until the next day. Beds were not comfy what so ever and again, reminded me of the good old military kaserne sleeping accomodations.

Staff at the desk was pleasant but not much knowledgeable of the tramway and bus system. As we went down for the towel and toilet paper, the attendant was busy watching YouTube clips with his buddies. We will definitely go somewhere else next time.

If you don't expect 5-star services for a 3-star price, then you will be more than happy with this hotel. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff speaks acceptable English, the breakfast is plentiful, not really varied, but you have a lot to choose from, so you really don't have to eat the same thing every morning. Everything is fresh and tastes really good, I have no idea why some reviewers call that food poor quality.. The parking is 80 meters from the entrance, beside the hotel (I was really worried because of some reviews I read here about the parking being 500 meters away, but I don't know what that was about...) The tram stop is really in front of the hotel, you can buy tickets at the reception, and it's about a 15 minutes ride to Museum square. I would definitely stay there again. One more thing: coming from direction Slovakia, the hotel is right on the main road leading from the highway into Prague, so you can't miss it, it really easy to find. Oh, yeah, about the rooms: we had the family room on 7th floor, 762, across the hall from the breakfast room.. We didn't hear any noise in the morning, not even when we were awake at 7 a.m., probably because the very nice lady who serves breakfast had everything prepared the day before.

References on the hotel and also the photos on the hotel booking website look very good. However when we came there there was a problem with parking - a very bad-tempered man who was not very excited about opening the gate to the parking place. Then the room itself was perfect, at least as far as the space and furnishing and cleanliness concern. But there was no air-conditioning which was very problmatic when the outside temperature reach 25 at night and during day 35 dgrs. When we opened the window it was not possible to sleep due to the horrible noise from the close road and trains. In the morning breakfast look good but the taste was very bad - the cheapest food you can buy and thus non-quality. And again a problem at the parking - nobody was able to open the gate. We were 5 cars there waiting long minutes for somebody to open the gate. Finally I had to go to the reception to ask for opening (as ringing the bell at the gate was useless). I cannost recommend this hotel.

We arrived quite late in the evening in Prague and took a taxi to the hotel. Although the taxi was extremely pricey, I am not sure we would have found the hotel without it, as it seemed to be down a unmarked path on the side of a desolate road; the taxi driver himself said he had had trouble finding it the first time he went there because, unless you look up, you don´t see any signs! Going inside, the reception was lined with guests using the WiFi only available in reception.

However, after that point, our experience improved tremendously. Reception was fast, friendly and helpful. We were paying 24 Euros a night including breakfast, which seemed unbelievable. I was therefore not surprised to find, having read reviews on here, that we were on the dreaded 7th floor. Not only that but I had The Room Directly Opposite the Breakfast Room...

The Room Opposite the Breakfast Room turns out to be very spacious, given that it was just me. With the door closed between the bedroom and the vestibule area - as it has a second bedroom that was locked off when I was there - I didn´t hear any of the breakfast noise, nor smell the breakfast smells. Probably if you are a light sleeper, you should avoid this room, however, for someone used to city noises, no problem.

Because we were so late, we wandered up to the local supermarket (up the hill, past the garage, around the back of the shopping complex on the left before the big crossroads), which is a lot bigger than I expected and open until midnight. We then took advantage of the kitchens available to guests to have a make shift picnic, washed down with a bottle of wine (corkscrew available at reception). The kitchen is not well equipped, so one has to be prepared to make do a little, however, it was sufficient.

My bed was not uncomfortable, however, the sheet was not comfortable. Luckily, being one person in a two bed room, I could make use of the second duvet. Not a place I would recommend watching television unless you speak Czech. There was useful information in the room regarding trams and night trams. Bathroom is small but functional.

I think breakfast is all cooked ahead of breakfast time, so, if you do want sausages or eggs, one should get their early before they start to look less than appetising. However, there is a decent spread of other foods for breakfast at the buffet.

And, given the price we were paying, it was amazing.

20 minutes into town on the tram, tram tickets available at reception - so it wouldn´t be convenient if one wanted to be in the centre of things. However, for a sight seeing/shopping trip, it was fine.

Really, this is an average hotel, bizarrely plonked in the most unlikely and hardly salubrious position. However, the price makes this somewhere I would certainly stay again if I just wanted a base with a good breakfast rather than, say, a luxury weekend. If you want a bargain hotel and don´t mind being out of the centre, definitely consider here.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper, avoid the 7th floor. Better if you can get one of the suite rooms on the...

Stayed for a weekend in the Abito hotel. It was fairly clean, the room was spacious enough and it had a very good shower in the bathroom. My critisism is with the beds. They have thin foam matresses on top of solid wooden frames and so are more than firm - I like a firm matress but it needs to be supportive, not to sink through to the frame below. Breakfast included a few types of sausages, hard poached eggs, fruit and some cereal/bread options. More than adequate if not overly inspiring. The tram stops just outside and its 20 min to the centre. It runs every 10 mins through til about midnight then there is a less frequest night tram.

Overall, good value for 36 euros a room a night.
