“Where time doesn't count”

Everything, but really everything perfect....but the time we spent there.
Location is supposed to be "romantic" or somehow "cute", food was delicious, atmosphere as well, and the service itself was perfect...the owner was pretty kind serving and explaining everything.
Prices were pretty ok.
The only thing that was pretty bad was the time involved...we sat at 8.15 and it took us almost an hour to get our meal ready....everything was tremendously slow...so...if you're rushing, just skip this place.
But if you don't care about time...don't hesitate and go there!

“Fantastic food, fabulous service”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

My mother and I made the decision to eat here at the last moment, and we're so happy we made this choice! The atmosphere is chic without being pretentious, and instantly welcoming. We both enjoyed the fabulous soup of the day (tomato cream) while drinking a delectable local Merlot - don't be fooled, the Czech Merlot is nothing like a California Merlot. It was recommended by the waiter and a perfect accompaniment to our dinner. I had the leg of deer, which was absolutely perfect paired with the chestnut "mashed potatoes." The steak dish with au gratin potatoes was excellent according to my mother. Our waiter, while the only one working 6 tables, was knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. Wouldn't have wanted to end our stay in Prague any other way.

We found Renomme on our last night in Prague and wished we had found it on our first!
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered this intimate restaurant. Don't be put off by the limited menu, the food is exquisite and I guarantee you will not be disappointed with your meal. Beautifully cooked, well presented great value for your money. The recommended wine was a bonus!

The waiter (the owners son) was delightful, spoke good engish and was ver friendly without beng intrusive.
Dinner was very enjoyable and of an extremely good standard. We took the waiters adVise on wine which too was good.
Would recommend and return.

“Exquisite French dining along the Vltava”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Trying to find a restaurant open on Boxing Day (December 26th) in Prague was somewhat of a challenge as we discovered. The Czechs take their holiday very seriously but that's OK because we would have otherwise (probably) never found this fantastic neighborhood gem. Walking towards the tourist section of Prague we were crossing Na Struze street when I spied lights on and an "OPEN" sign lit, waiting to greet those lucky enough to step inside. This small intimate restaurant is decorated with a soothing but modern decor. At the bar the owner's two young sons sat eating their lunch with enthusiasm. We were warmly greeted by the owner/waiter and seated at a table that overlooked the sidewalk outside. The specialty of the house was foie gras, prepared onsite by the owner's wife who simply MUST be French. We started our meal with a shared platter of beef carpaccio -- what a delight! The owner had even enlarged the portion by an extra third once he realized we had planned to share. A good move on his part since the carpaccio, along with the fabulous light fluffy French bread, was devoured quickly...yes, it was just...THAT...good....I ordered a chicken broth soup with liver dumplings and the homemade foie gras with a red cabbage chutney. The soup dumplings were so very memorable and the foie gras was to die for (I wish the chutney was sold commercially so I could take a suitcaseful back to the States!!). My daughter revelled in her sizeable chicken Caesar salad (prepared the proper way) as did my husband with his selection of tender roast goose (a generous half goose portion) and brussel sprouts. Don't plan to eat then run from this restaurant...embrace the leisurely French way of dining to truly savor this extraordinary dining experience!
