“fascinating sculpture describing communism...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2012

Off the beaten path from many of the other sites in Prague, but if you can find your way over to this sculpture it is a powerful and in many ways beautiful art piece that describes what communism does to the people and the soul. I would highly recommend seeing it if you have the time even if you are not an art lover- it is a very powerful piece. Even my 17 year old found it to be very moving!!

“Simple monument with an interesting story”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2011

The Hunger Wall is a wall that crosses the Petrin Hill. It is particularly stricking when viewed from the end of Most Legii – a single wall that descends right to the base of the hill. Built in the 1360’s and repaired several times since, this massive wall is 1200 metres long. Walking down from Petrin Hill the path criss-crosses under the wall, providing stunning views of the wall and of Prague itself. A pretty amazing structure and an interesting addition to a walk on Petrin Hill.
