We went here 3 times on our recent trip to Prague as it was near our hotel and we absolutely loved it. I had the enormous 1.2kg pork knee on two occasions and the goulash on one, my partner had the baked sirloin twice and the chicken once. They never failed to please and the bill never came in above 600Kč, for a three course meal and a couple of beers for two. Portion sizes were more than generous and the food consistently delicious, I especially recommend the pork knee garlic soup and the pork knee. Service was always very friendly but not overbearing and English menus were provided to us before we even had to ask, there were also happy to serve us food at around 11pm on a Tuesday night, which was an absolute lifesaver.
The atmosphere is that of a friendly locals bar, with TV's showing a Czech sport channel (quietly )and plenty of people just having a drink, without food. There was live music on Friday evening, but unfortunately we had a flight to catch so had to leave as the band were still tuning up. Shame as I suspect it could be a fun place to spend a friday night.
