The selection was great. The Prosecco was a nice touch. The surroundings were opulent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and gave us plenty of space.

“Overpriced and snotty”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

The waitress's body language screamed disdain when I dared to ask the price of a glass of wine. Since we were charged $12 for a bottle of water, I think it's being safe to ask a price before ordering. Our food was lovely, small portions. Beautiful setting though and if money is no object this is your place.

“Excellent Service and Food”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

We were totally pampered and catered to while dinning at the Le Papillon. We were staying at the hotel so it was very convenient to spend our last night in Prague and glad we did. My husband had the Sesame encrusted Tuna, which was exceptional sushi grade tuna. I had prawns with lobster sauce, which was also very good. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure you try their cookies with white and dark chocolate dips that come in small cups It is a treat that you end up drinking and savoring.

“elegant but low-key”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The wait-staff were just right--attentive, knowledgeable, down-to-earth but not intrusive. The food was top-quality. We liked that the restaurant was quiet without loud music drowning out our conversation.

“Pleasant restaurant but pricey”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

The food at Le Papillon was lovely although it was quite expensive, as were the wines. It was abit too quiet and lacked atmosphere when we were there in early May. Perhaps it would be more lively in the summer months?
