I spent many hours here during my two-week stay. The proprietor Roman and all the staff are simply the best, and very skilled baristas, in this traditional coffee shop where "face to face" is the preferred method of communication. Excellent coffee and deserts, comfortable tables, sunny windows, and interesting ceiling decoration will make you want to stay longer than you planned.

Location across from the Ministry of Culture is just far enough away from the crowds to make you feel at home and very Czech. Most times the place is filled with lively conversation and returning patrons. Get to be one of them, and you won't regret it.

After a busy (and cold) morning of walking round Prague, we wanted to try this place out due to looking at TripAdvisor reviews. Oh my!!! It was a lovely little cafe with a very friendly waiter. The hot chocolate basically tasted like melted chocolate in a cup - you had to drink it using a spoon!! Absolutely amazing. We also had a slice of carrot cake which seemed to be homemade - very moist and delicious. So glad we visited and would definitely recommend a visit!!!

I was looking out for this café as I had read out it on Tripadvisor. In the end I stumbled upon it by accident. It was empty when I got there. Lovely, peaceful place - great range of coffees - you pick a bean and they then prepare the coffee of your choice. Beautifully served. Good apple strudel. Do try the café - it's definitely worth a visit.
Super friendly service.

Not only is this a non-smoking cafe (a rarity in Europe) but they also have the MOST delicious hot chocolate to ever exist. It is a bit more like pudding and is eaten with a spoon. There are many flavors - the hazelnut was amazing. I would definitely go back if ever in Prague again!

Well worth the trek to find this hidden gem! Had a cup of hot chocolate and a carrot cake. The hot chocolate is amazing! You must try it! :) the staff are lovely and friendly also. Check the address before you set off though as they have recently moved, we went to the old place and somebody kindly gave us their new address.
