“Kind receptionists but hot rooms”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2012

Receptionists are kind and helpful, the rooms are big but too warm if you don't use the air conditioned with a 10€ extra. In addiction if you stay in the rooms that have the windows in front of the tram stop you can't open the windows if you want to sleep. The breakfast could have been better. I suggest, if you want to stay in this hotel, to take a reservation for the rooms on thw other side.

Interesting price for sure, nice staff, clean rooms but very bad located. we tried to go by foot.downtown and it took us more than 40min. There are trams but no metro which go to the hotel from the station. I would recommand this one who have light weight luggages and don't mind being excentred because it is a very nice hotel with a good cachet and the staff is friendly. The breakfast was more than ok.

hotel was nice and really handy for exploring Prague , the trams stop right outside and run every ten minutes. The hotel was very clean and staff were helpful , the breakfast was basic but fresh every day.
It was quite warm when we stayed and we had an attic room that was sweltering and the window was only small, this meant it was clammy in the room all night so it made sleeping difficult! But this was only a small problem as we hired the air con unit from reception.
Over all it was an enjoyable stay!

The rooms were musty and moldy to begin with. The hotel was next to not a very nice part of town which added to the bad experience. The hotel gives you a false sense of security and the people working there are rude and unsympathetic, when they let in a erect stranger who broke into our room and stole a wallet while one occupant was in the room.

The hotel staff are friendly, the hotel room was clean but very basic. The towels were threadbare. The hotel is on a very busy road with teams and buses running 24 hours a day.

There is no air con in the rooms and during my stay it was very hot, sleeping with the windows open to let in some air meant the room was noisy.

Breakfast is typical continental meat and cheese, along with watery coffee and watered down fruit juices.

To be fair if you are looking for basic and clean this hotel is OK, if you are looking for fluffy towels and a tasty bacon butty look elsewhere.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms overlooking main street

Lovely clean hotel with spacious clean rooms. A bargain considering the price.
By only two criticisms are:

1) Breakfast was a very minimal, limited choice, no hot food, not even eggs! Basically bread, cheese, cold meat slices.
2) No replacement towels unless room is serviced i.e. unless you leave your keys at reception
