least enjoyable visit in our stay in prague.Staff with exception of cloakroom attendant felt like relics from the austere communist days and museum needs complete overhaul -there is some nice exhibits there but unpleasant atmsphere

Reopened in 1985, on display are European and Bohemian applied arts and crafts from Renaissance to contemporary art and is famous for it’s glass collection (bequeathed by Gustav Pazaurek in 1932). 4 Departments with collections such as: art glass, ceramics and porcelain, graphic arts and photography, furniture, textile art, fashion and toys.

A superb collection. Simply superb. And catch a free glimpse of the Jewish cemetery from windows near the bathrooms. Also be sure to check out the revolving display cases.

Great museum, full of textiles, glassware and ceramics, amazing books with beautiful bindings and illustrations, and gorgeous jewelry!

This museum is a gem. If you like glass and porcelin, it's a must see.They're collection spans several centuries, Also included are textiles and clothing.
