We had lunch here and it was great. So many beers! We had the ostrich medallions and the veniaon goulash. Both were very well prepared and flavorful. The staff is great too. Very worth the trip fr the center

Thank jejoco

“Great Place”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Went here for dinner three times and lunch six times on a two week trip to Prague. Beer was great, range of bottled beers was interesting but the most fun is sampling what they have on Tap. Food is Czech traditional and good bar quality. Highly recommend the Sausage in dark beer sauce.

“Recommended beer and food”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

Don´t let its location scare you; inside of this pub and restaurant, you find possibly the largest selection of beer in the Czech republic. Also large selection of import beer.
The restaurant in the basement is a rustic cellar that serves traditional czech food. Nice food, cosy atmosphere, but if full it will be quite noisy (the waiter used ear plugs). It might be an idea to have the dessert beer, upstairs in the pub.
Recommended for all, not only beer lovers - who will be in heaven :-)

“Great food and service!”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Friendly, friendly staff. Although this place is quite a ways out of the center, they still offer English descriptions on the menus and the staff spoke English as well. So much beer here! My husband left me at the table to walk around the room and gaze lovingly at all the options. :)

This place isn't much for atmosphere--At least, upstairs. (We didn't go downstairs) But, if you want a solid, relaxed, Czech dinner experience with good service and tons of beer, this is your place! Great prices too.

“Great beer and extremely wide selection of bottled beer”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

We went to this place on a late afternoon for a snack and few beers.. The initial service was a bit odd as the waitress told us 'sit' when we went to the bar and asked for the menu. But then she was kind and helpful.
The Weissbier is definetely worth going for, but also the dark lager is very nice. We also took potatoes and a cheese platter - which was good (3 different cheeses in good quantities).
