This tour was the perfect introduction to Prague. Callum, our guide, was knowledgeable and kept the tour going at just the right pace. We hit the highlights around Old Town Square - not going in to the various buildings but hearing the history so we could go back later on our own and know what we were looking at. The guide kept the history fun for those that might not love history, but he seemed very enthusiastic about it himself. Would've liked to hear more about the City Hall building that is virtually all gone - just a fragment of one wall, and also would've liked to hear about the Prime Meridian which is also right there in the square, but I realize you can't cover everything. Everyone who goes on this tour and enjoys it should give a reasonable tip - these guys provide a real service. It was excellent.

We have done quite a few free walking tours in various cities and have yet to have a bad run. Today's tour was great. Callum was funny, informative and delivered a great commentary of this fabulous city. The walk is relatively easy and this one was broken up with a coffee/comfort stop. This is the first tour that has done this and it was a welcome break to chat with fellow travellers and have time to ask questions without interrupting the flow of the tour. We would happily recommend this tour to all new visitors, best to do on your first day so you have some grounding in the lay of the city and its colourful history. Thanks for a great day and keep up the great work.

I've been on tours in other cities on the world and been bored to tears, walking for hours and was very hesitant about doing the same thing in Prague. We had a look on TripAdvisor to begin with and other research brought up 6 1/2 hour tour which we were not too sure if we were up for either then we saw that this one was 2 1/2 hours and was for free!! 'Perfect' we thought 'if it is boring for 2 1/2 hours at least we don't have to pay for it!'
Thankfully we were wrong, we met underneath the clocktower and went on an amazing to work around Prague- Everything is close together so there never seem to be a long point of walking or talking-everything is beautiful in Prague and our guide had such a passion to explain to us many points of the history which was astounding and we were very intrigued from start to finish! The free tour works because they do not run from a script that sounds like they have said it 1000 times-they care & worked hard so that people would like to tip them- I would say it is impossible not to end up so interested or part of the group. You connect to the city through this person and it is fantastic... You must try this tour- if you don't like it, you don't have to pay!

Chris was great as the guide on the tour to Kutna Hora. Very knowledgeable! Bone Chappel was a bit absurd, but the trip itself was really rewarding and a pleasant walk through the community. We got to see a bit of the Czech Republic beyond Prague ..Well worth their fee.

It was a really amazing tour around the beautiful city of Prague! The guide spoke very good English (he was of Australian origin) was very desciptive and eager to answer any questions.
The tour is free and there is no catch to that, but if you like you can give the guide a tip on the end of the tour. I would recommend to take the tour on your first day at Prague so you can visit any of the places you liked on the tour for longer time the rest of the days.
