This tour was a lot of fun, and Simon (the guide) had a lot of interesting and funny stories to tell along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.

“Yellow Unbrellas=best tour ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

went to Prague at the end of January. Needless to say it was FREEZING. we actually stumbled into the tour without knowing what the large gathered group was doing. We became intrigued, learned it was free, and stayed with the group the whole time! THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER. If I had not joined the group, I would have never learned the amazing history of Prague. Also, our tour guide Callam was AWESOME. So funny and knowledgeable, I didn't even get bored and though I was freezing, it was worth tagging along. All the guides were very kind, they even help some people's luggage while they participated in the tour then helped them with instructions to the airport. I honestly cannot suggest these tours enough (we went on the Old Town tour AND castle tour and almost went on the pub crawl- but were too cold). These tours made my trip amazing. PLEASE DO NOT MISS.

“Great tour where you pay what you think it's worth!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

Simon, our guide for this tour, was a really nice guy from York (GB) who went on a Eurotrip starting in Prague and getting stuck there. ;)

He has a decent knowledge of all the touristy stuff you might want to hear but garnishes it with witty jokes and amusing facts to make it all go down smoothly.

The tour lasted 2.5 hours and took us through the most important city center sights on the right side of the Moldova. Even though the weather was cold and crappy we quite enjoyed the venture.

Simon works on tips only and is upfront about this right from the start so you don't feel cheated by the "free" (which it basically is if you're an [--]. ;)

We recommend it!

“Learn the history of Prague as you view the sights”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

We forgot the cold and snow as we walked around the old town, Jewish quarter and new town with Simon who brought history to life. Just wish we had longer to explore more fully all the interesting places he told us about but it gives us a reason to return to Prague again!

“Pleasant experience...”

We enjoyed a special time with Paul on our first visit to Prague. Informative, educational, and enjoyable.

In addtion, we did pay for the 2:00 pm Castle tour with the same company a few days later. It was not as professional as the free tour, and my apologies for not remembering the guides names. It seemed rushed and not as professional as the free walking tour. Please note the tour does not go into the castle but around the castle. The tour price includes a short tram ride up to the castle area, but does not include one back down. The tour ended at one of the castle entrances, some 200 meters away from the metro, with about 200 steps back to the metro.
