“Not worth the money”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

I am a chocoholic, so dreamt of going to the chocolate museum for months before going to Prague. But it was a disappointment. The staff were very friendly, but the "making pralines demonstration" and the museum in general was not worth the ticked we paid...

“Probably not worth doing the museum (maybe with younger children) but attached shop was ok”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

I can't quite believe that we paid to go to this museum - it seemed very amateurish and the displays were a little childish. Maybe it's meant for children??? Not sure, but I wouldn't recommend adults to go. The chocolate making demonstration was extremely disappointing - 10 mins of watching a guy using a machine to pour melted chocolate into moulds. Hmmm, I think I could do better at home! The film at the end of the museum was quite informative - reminiscent of the TV show 'How it's made'. Only go with little kids or if you really have no idea where chocolate comes from. It's not for real chocolate fans!

“Stop and watch them make candy!”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

If you go to Wenceslas Square, you MUST stop at Choco Story! The Candy Man out front brought out special taffy for my toddler while we watched the incredible rock candy demonstration and danced with older visitors out front. I don't know if I would do the museum portion again, but the candy shop is great!

“Definitely worth a look.”
Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

The chocolate museum was interesting with a demonstration and tasting. With your ticket you got a free bag of candy rocks like you get at the see side or hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was a warm cup of milk but it was free so a welcome gesture when temperatures are freezing.
