A small Italian restaurant in a central backstreet in Prague 1. Charming and cosy, with old wooden furniture and plain plastered walls. Great wine selection. Standard Italian menu. The entire place is non smoking. Reasonably priced, and well worth trying out.

Very small and cozy (which sometimes made the service hectic due to parties arriving at the same time), and overall a nice experience. The menu was fairly limited though and the pasta was good but basic.

A party of 10 during a week-day enjoyed the food there. All agreed that as far as taste, the authenticity was present, however, in small quantities. Despite the starters consisting of the bruschetta, colds (meat) platter, and some salads, we still thought it could be just a tad more - perhaps because the Italians eat pasta as "primi" and therefore the quantity was fit for a primo, but not for a main course. The tiramisu was excellent and home made, the cantucci a tad too hard. The house-wine from (Umbria) white and red was ok, but they had quite a wine card - which we didn't explore (unfortunately). Another down-side perhaps.. closed down a bit too early for Czech (and Mediterranean) standards.

This is most definitely the best restaurant I have visited in Prague. You should try the gnocchi and the tiramisu - both are absolutely to die for! The girl serving us was very sweet. No idea why it's not fully booked every night!

We ate here on 2 of the 3 nights we were in Prague. Tucked down a side street it is quite well hidden but worth searching out. The menu is mainly pasta based but there are other dishes. Apart from the excellant and really good value food, what we really liked about this restaurant was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. A different young lady served us on each occaision and both were simply lovely. The chef came out to check our food was alright and we felt we received 5 star service at a very low price. It's a small place so probably best to book but do try it.
