I stayed at the Trevi with 7 friends for 3 nights. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and worked as it should. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style, but something for everyone. Hotel Trevi is very well located, close to tram service into city centre and also close to the Namesti Miru metro stop. We also walked to/from the centre and this was easy walking and directions. My wife and I are planning to return to Prague next year and we won't be looking elsewhere for a good hotel. Good local shops, bars and restaurants

Would be a two star in Scandinavia. Nothing bad to say, staff is helpful enough and place is quite clean. Breakfast - two stars. Rooms seem to be hot when it's hot outside, no ac. Just opposite a classy drink/wine bar, beer and food too. A good shop 30 meters away. Street side rooms may be noisy if you sleep with an open window. My travel on high season so it lowers the value a bit

Room Tip: Street side may be noisy.

We had a very positive experience of this hotel. The location is great, only 200 meters from Namesti Miru metro station, which is 1-4 metro stops away from to most important sights. As the hotel was also clean and at reasonably quiet area, I considered a 52 EUR for a double room a real bargain. Don't miss the excellent restaurant just across the street, "The Blue Wagon".

Room Tip: There are rooms facing the street and the inner yard. The ones towards the yard have even small balc...

We have just returned from a 5 day break, we have nothing but praise for this hotel, loved the location with the metro only a short stroll away, or a 15 minute walk into the square, staff were really helpful, another pillow would of been great and I am sure if I had of asked it wouldn't of been a problem, can't wait to go back and definitely would stay here again, there is a fab proper Czech cellar bar around the corner from the hotel called the American, a must for a late drink before going to bed, fab characters in there.

Room Tip: We were at the front of the hotel and noise was minimal.

Ok so I must admit that we were a little unsure as this was booked as part of a group on deal, however we were pleasantly surprised.
We went on a couple day trip to Prague (lovely city) last week and wish we had stayed a little longer to see some more.
This hotel is about an hour (by public transport) from the airport. This is just 1 bus from the terminal to the tube network and 8 stops on the tube. The hotel itself is about 2 minute walk from the underground station itself. It's also only a 15 minute walk to the old square, which is the city centre and you can find everything there from food to tours etc.
We arrived and went up to our room which was quite spacious and clean, it also looked like the hotel had been refurbished fairly recently.
The reception is manned 24/7 and they are very accommodating. There is wifi throughout the hotel (though admittedly was a lil temperamental on the top floor is you went away from the bed). The room was cleaned every day when we were out and the towels were changed. The bathroom was a little dark by the shower and the shower wasn't draining properly when we arrived (though when informed they fixed it very quickly). The shower itself had two types of heads on it, rain and hand held.
We read some other reviews on here and having been to hotel think they are a bit unfair. One person was moaning about the lack of hair dryers etc. if they had been to reception there is a note to say that hair dryers, adapters and lots of other things are available from the hotel if asked for.
The breakfast is basic, however considering the size of the hotel I thought it was very well stocked and quite varied. Don't expect a big hotel buffet as it isn't a big hotel. But it is very nice.
One tip I would say is to buy your drinks from the small supermarket opposite the hotel, water is very cheap there. If you try and buy water in or around the old square they will rip you off on price, you can try haggling with them but this doesn't work everywhere.

Hope you find this useful.

Room Tip: We had a room on the top floor (6) small lift but good room

My husband and I decided to spend a couple of nights in Prague on a city break. We booked both flights and hotel at the last minute, but chose this particular hotel because of its reviews and its location. I must say, the location was perfect for us as we like taking a walk into the city centre and this takes about 10-15 minutes. If you're after a centrally located hotel, this is not for you. The hotel itself is located in a residential area with a local supermarket just down the road from the hotel, which was great! The actual hotel had a fairly modern feel, but I felt a lot was done on the "cheap". The rooms lacked air conditioning, which was a real pain as the weather was rather hot when we visited Prague. This meant we had to leave the windows open during the night, which was ok from a security point of view as our room was on the fourth floor. BUT as the hotel was located in a residential area, the usual traffic ect. meant that the noise was sometimes unbearable. The beds were on the firm side, so if you don't like this, beware! The room was very basic. The hotel information in the room was very sparse and was condensed on a A4 piece of paper. There were no pictures on the walls, which made the room feel very cold and unwelcoming. Bathroom lacked a toilet roll holder and a shower tray (bear in mind this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel....) Shower doors did not work properly either. The hotel had just one lift, which could take two people, three at a squeeze. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Very few choices and no hot food. I saw several people shake their heads and walk off. The reason why I have given this hotel a 3-star review instead of 2-stars, is because the hotel was very clean, the reception staff very helpful and the price we were charged was reasonable. We enjoyed Prague, but we won't be staying at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Try getting a room, which is not facing the street.

I needed place to stay for two nights in Central Prague, but since I was traveling during the peak tourist period, I was afraid I would not be able to find anything reasonable at a good price. Fortunately Trevi had a pretty decent price for a single AC room. The hotel is very quiet, you need to be buzzed in to enter, so it's quite safe as well. The rooms are super-clean, the staff is very helpful. The breakfast was tasty, without much variety in terms of fruit/ham/cheese, but it was still quite decent. Subway "Namesti Miru" is 2 minutes away.
